This position covers the territory of North Carolina

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive territory business plans targeting fleet and industrial markets.

  • Grow sales across both direct and distributor accounts.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, providing training and support to enhance their performance.

  • Identify, prospect, and convert new leads within both sales channels.

  • Collaborate with sales teams and leadership to align strategies and achieve sales targets.

  • Lead joint customer visits and conduct opportunity reviews alongside distributors.

  • Deliver product presentations, conduct training sessions, and help use digital sales tools.

  • Use CRM systems to manage sales activities.

  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to inform and adjust sales strategies.

  • Manage expenses responsibly while upholding ethical, customer-focused sales practices.

  • Mentor junior sales staff and promote a collaborative team environment.

  • Travel up to 50% to support our goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of experience in commercial coatings sales.

  • Technical knowledge of industrial coatings and application processes.

  • Experience in sales, negotiation, and relationship management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and CRM software.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated, ethical, team-oriented, and customer-focused.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
