As a Business Operations Analyst IV for Legal’s Strategy and Enablement team, you will own strategic initiatives that transform how Legal operates. You will improve efficiency, scalability, and business impact through technology, automation, data, and process improvement. Working across Legal, business, and technical teams, you will translate complex operational challenges into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable results. You will impact through influence, build alignment, and drive organizational change to ensure new solutions and ways of working are successfully adopted and sustained. Your work will strengthen Legal's capabilities, improve operational performance, and enable the department to best support Indeed. Who you are

• Own high-impact transformation initiatives that improve Legal's operational effectiveness, scalability, and ability to support business priorities.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to simplify processes, improve workflows, and apply AI, automation, and data solutions to complex business challenges.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, define business requirements and success measures, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver results.
• Build partner alignment, influence decisions, and navigate competing priorities to advance initiatives without direct authority.
• Drive change management efforts, including partner engagement, communications, organizational readiness, and adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Partner with technical and business teams to develop and implement scalable solutions, ensuring appropriate governance, controls, risk management, and operational ownership, including for privileged and confidential Legal information.
• Establish performance measures, evaluate outcomes, and use data and feedback to identify improvements, demonstrate business value, and sustain results.

Who we are

• Requires a minimum of 14 years of related experience; or a minimum of 12 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience.
• Demonstrated success driving complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable operational improvements.
• Experience leveraging technology, AI, automation, data, or process improvement to solve business problems and improve operational performance.
• Proven strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, manage risk, and translate insights into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage leaders, bridge business and technical teams, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
