Position Overview
AdReach is seeking an organized, relationship-oriented business development professional to help expand our connections with advertising agencies, media agencies, and brand advertisers.
The primary focus of this role is to create qualified agency and advertiser meetings at scale. This person will research and verify target organizations and contacts, conduct thoughtful outreach through LinkedIn and email, maintain accurate activity records in HubSpot and schedule meetings for the appropriate AdReach team members.
The ideal candidate is proactive, credible, and highly organized. They enjoy researching organizations, identifying the right people and creating opportunities for others to develop deeper business relationships. They understand that successful agency outreach requires persistence, but also discretion, relevance, and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Agency and Advertiser Prospecting
- Secure meetings with advertising and media agencies.
- Build, research, and maintain targeted lists of advertising agencies, media agencies, media buyers, brand marketers and other relevant decision-makers in HubSpot.
- Verify contact information, job titles, agency relationships, client rosters and other relevant account details before initiating outreach.
- Identify the most appropriate contacts within each organization based on AdReach sales priorities and target categories.
- Segment prospect lists by agency type, advertiser category, geography, relationship status, campaign opportunity or other strategic criteria.
Outreach and Meeting Generation
- Conduct consistent outreach through LinkedIn, email and other approved digital channels.
- Generate interest in AdReach and schedule qualified introductory meetings for the appropriate sales or leadership team members.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, provide relevant background information and ensure a smooth handoff to the team member responsible for leading the conversation.
- Maintain appropriate follow-up cadences for prospects who are interested but not yet ready to meet.
CRM and Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and complete prospect, account, outreach and meeting records in HubSpot.
- Track all communications, follow-up dates, meeting outcomes and next steps.
- Monitor prospects through defined outreach stages and help maintain a clean, reliable business development pipeline.
- Identify duplicate records, outdated contacts, incomplete account information and other CRM data-quality issues.
- Provide the sales team with clear context before each scheduled meeting, including contact background, agency or advertiser information and the reason for the meeting.
Social Media and Brand Visibility
- Engage appropriately with relevant agency, advertiser, hospitality, media and marketing-industry content.
- Use social activity to build familiarity and credibility with priority prospects.
Reporting and Performance Accountability
- Submit a concise daily activity report outlining:
- New accounts and contacts researched or verified
- LinkedIn outreach completed
- Emails sent
- Responses received
- Follow-ups completed
- Meetings booked
- Meetings confirmed or rescheduled
- Notable prospect feedback, objections, or opportunities
- Participate in regular pipeline and performance reviews.
- Track progress against agreed-upon activity, meeting-generation and data-quality goals.
- Share observations regarding messaging effectiveness, prospect response patterns and potential improvements to the outreach strategy.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in advertising, media, agency business development, media sales, marketing or a related field.
- Familiarity with how advertising agencies, media agencies, media buyers and brand marketing teams operate.
- Demonstrated experience with prospect research, outbound outreach, lead generation, appointment setting or business development.
- Experience using LinkedIn for professional prospecting and relationship development.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to tailor outreach while working efficiently from approved templates.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working within an advertising, media, marketing or communications agency.
- Existing familiarity or relationships within advertising agencies, media agencies, brand marketing teams or the out-of-home media industry.
- Comfort using LinkedIn, email, and approved messaging templates to initiate conversations and secure meetings.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or comparable CRM and prospecting tools.
- Experience supporting a newer advertising, media or sponsorship offering.
- Understanding of media planning, media buying, experiential marketing, shopper marketing or brand partnerships.
