The Aftermarket Sales Engineer will identify and manage aftermarket business opportunities for RTK and Schroedahl products across North America. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, providing technical training, and maintaining accurate sales forecasts to drive revenue growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of end customers throughout North America (NA) and identify opportunities to expand aftermarket businesses.
Analyze the installed base of RTK and Schroedahl products across the region and determine aftermarket revenue entitlement based on actual field installations.
Conduct site visits, plant walk-downs to key end users to assess valve operating conditions, evaluate equipment health, and provide maintenance recommendations to improve reliability and performance.
Deliver technical training, product education, and application support to channel partners, customers, and end users.
Prepare and maintain spare parts recommendations, valve operation manuals, maintenance procedures, and service documentation to support customer needs.
Document and maintain detailed records of customer visits, including operational findings, installed base data, service opportunities, and technical reports.
Manage and follow up on all aftermarket opportunities within NA for both RTK and Schroedahl product lines, including open quotations and project activity.
Perform win/loss analysis on aftermarket opportunities and develop strategies to improve quotation conversion rates and overall aftermarket performance.
Provide accurate weekly and monthly aftermarket sales forecasts for the NA region.
Monitor accounts receivable (AR) performance, support collection activities, and assist in reducing overdue balances.
Ensure all channel partner activities comply with CIRCOR trade compliance policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in aftermarket sales within industrial equipment, valve, or process control industries.
Strong knowledge of control valves, automatic recirculation valves (ARVs), or similar industrial equipment.
Experience working with equipment spare parts, product configurations, and Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
Familiarity with value-selling methodologies and customer-focused sales processes.
Proficiency in business and service management tools, including CRM, ERP, service portals, and related software applications.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage external customers and channel partners.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively and perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Experience working directly with end users, engineering teams, maintenance personnel, and channel partners

Education
Technical education is required, preferably with a focus in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
