Summit Human Capital is seeking a 100% Remote Sr. Oracle Database Administrator to support a federal program. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a Public Trust.
10+ years of experience as an Oracle database administrator.
Experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c.
Hands on experience with Automatic Storage Management, Transparent Data Encryption, and RMAN disaster recovery.
Experience with SQL Plus and PS/SQL.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to be client-facing and lead stakeholder meetings.
Ability to be on-call after hours and on weekends as needed.
Desired:
Previous experience supporting federal government programs and/or existing Public Trust.
Oracle certifications.
Responsibilities:
Join a team supporting a federal government IT infrastructure program that runs 24/7 support.
Provide knowledge and expertise of Oracle database technologies.
Provide assistance with database troubleshooting, application development support, tuning, and escalation of technical issues.
Create and refine disaster recovery/database backup plans.
Communicate with stakeholders/clients in meetings and written correspondence.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
