Summit Human Capital is seeking a 100% Remote Sr. Oracle Database Administrator to support a federal program. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a Public Trust.
  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle database administrator.
  • Experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c.
  • Hands on experience with Automatic Storage Management, Transparent Data Encryption, and RMAN disaster recovery.
  • Experience with SQL Plus and PS/SQL.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to be client-facing and lead stakeholder meetings.
  • Ability to be on-call after hours and on weekends as needed.
Desired:
  • Previous experience supporting federal government programs and/or existing Public Trust.
  • Oracle certifications.
Responsibilities:
  • Join a team supporting a federal government IT infrastructure program that runs 24/7 support.
  • Provide knowledge and expertise of Oracle database technologies.
  • Provide assistance with database troubleshooting, application development support, tuning, and escalation of technical issues.
  • Create and refine disaster recovery/database backup plans.
  • Communicate with stakeholders/clients in meetings and written correspondence.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
