This role involves the ongoing design, build, testing, validation, and support of assigned Epic modules, specifically MyChart, Ambulatory, and Beaker, while collaborating with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and capture requirements for new initiatives. Key accountabilities include maintaining module expertise, performing system analysis and build, managing complex production issues, and contributing to project planning and documentation.

The specialist reviews medical documentation to validate or assign and sequence CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10CM, and modifiers for professional encounters in the Ob/Gyn department, applying coding conventions and regulatory guidelines. Key duties include resolving claims edits, performing charge entry for professional services, and ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines.
