The Finance Associate/Analyst will build and maintain complex financial models for battery storage and solar assets while supporting M&A transactions and capital raises. They will also prepare investor reporting packages, manage corporate budgeting, and conduct investment analysis for the company's clean energy projects.
Lead NewEdge Power’s commercial strategy and origination for utility-scale battery storage and solar projects, including negotiating offtake agreements and managing market pricing intelligence across PJM, MISO, and ERCOT. Build the origination function, guide market and policy priorities, and support executive, Board, investor, and capital partner communications.
The Director of Permitting will develop and execute project-level permitting strategies for utility-scale and distributed solar and battery storage projects. This role involves managing environmental diligence, engaging with regulatory agencies and local communities, and overseeing consultant teams to ensure project schedules and budgets are met.
Lead a portfolio of utility-scale battery storage and solar projects from greenfield development through notice to proceed or sale, managing budgets, schedules, risks, interconnection, site control, permitting, and community relationships. Coordinate commercial and financing readiness, lead diligence for buyers and capital partners, report project status to management and investors, and hire and mentor project developers.
Manage monthly and quarterly close activities across corporate, holding, and project entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, project costs, and partnership transactions. Prepare audit, tax, financial, budget, and investor reporting support while improving accounting controls, accounts payable workflows, and systems.
The role involves performing rigorous quantitative transmission analysis to identify interconnection positions and minimize financial risk. Responsibilities include managing external consultants, tracking RTO expansion plans, and providing strategic updates on generation retirement and congestion.
