Art of Problem Solving

The Instructional Coach is responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating math instructors to ensure high-quality virtual classes. They also maintain a teaching load and develop instructional approaches to increase student engagement.

Teach participation-oriented Language Arts classes to high-achieving elementary and middle school students in a live virtual environment. Provide thoughtful feedback on writing assignments and foster a classroom culture focused on critical thinking and problem solving.

Provide real-time mentoring, hints, and encouragement to students in live text-based STEM classes. Answer questions and provide feedback for students preparing for high-level math contests.

The instructor will teach enthusiastic middle and high school students in live online classrooms using the provided curriculum, focusing on participation-oriented classes that develop skills rather than rote memorization. Classes are small, averaging 12 students who are passionate about learning.

Graders provide personalized feedback on writing problems to help students grow in their problem-solving, content understanding, and communication skills. This work involves grading assignments for rigorous, high-quality math and other STEM classes offered online.
