Required Skills:
Workday Consultant with experience in successful end-to-end implementations or support on Workday Finance functional areas. The Workday Finance Functional Lead is responsible for designing, Configuring, and managing integrations between Workday Financials and other enterprise systems. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure Project delivery
Lead end-to-end functional design and deployment of Workday Invoice-to-Cash transformation, covering Billing, Revenue Management, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Tax, Reporting, and Customer Communications.
Minimum 8+ years of Workday Financials experience with strong expertise in Billing, Revenue Management, AR, Financial Accounting, Customers, and Collections.
Facilitate discovery, design, and solution workshops with Billing Operations, Accounting, Revenue, Tax, Sales, and Technology stakeholders.
Define future-state business processes, approval workflows, controls, security requirements, and operational procedures aligned to Workday leading practices.
Collaborate with business teams to design solutions for standard and non-standard billing scenarios, revenue recognition, collections, and tax requirements.
Strong understanding of Workday Security, including role-based security, business process controls, auditability, and segregation-of-duties.
Lead reporting, dashboard, and analytics requirements gathering and validation activities.
Support data conversion strategy, reconciliation, testing, UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare activities.
Proven experience as Functional Lead/Architect on at least two end-to-end Workday Financials implementations, preferably involving Billing and Revenue Management.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and program delivery skills within large-scale finance transformation programs.
Responsibilities:
Implementation/ Support projects execution and governance with the customer team.
Gather Business requirements and provide configuration support of Absence, Payroll, Recruitment and Talent Management modules
Work independently or with team and/or Project Manager to participate in integration Design/Development
Maintain continuously and support existing integrations by resolving defects (if any), enhance and apply required updates, as necessary.
Work in a team of workday configuration and integration analysts to craft technical specifications.
Analyze business requirements and produce detail and solution specifications consulting with Client Process Owners about standard methodologies for HR processes in Workday.
Ensure the productive operations of Workday System Architecture including all interfaces (integrations) as well as custom reports/dashboards.
Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns.
Ability to work with the team that can be geographically dispersed, in planning support and be available to support or guide as and when necessary.
