We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Support Specialist to support our global warehouse operations and help ensure that warehouse processes, systems and procedures operate efficiently and consistently.
Reporting to the Logistics and Supply Chain Expert, you will:
- Support warehouse teams globally with operational and system-related questions.
- Help resolve complex and non-standard warehouse situations.
- Work with ERP/WMS systems to investigate and correct operational issues.
- Identify the root causes of recurring errors and develop solutions to prevent them.
- Maintain and update warehouse SOPs, manuals, procedures and training materials.
- Support the implementation of new warehouse processes and procedures.
- Participate in ERP/WMS testing, user acceptance testing and system implementation activities.
- Act as a key user and subject matter expert for warehouse systems.
- Train and support warehouse users when required.
- Work with Quality and other departments on QMS, CAPA and warehouse process-related activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and ERP/WMS functionality.
- Support the onboarding of new locations and the standardisation of global warehouse processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, quality or a related area.
Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably pharmaceuticals, clinical research, healthcare logistics or another GxP environment.
Good understanding of SOP-driven processes and regulated operations.
Practical experience with ERP, WMS or similar warehouse management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
Good general IT literacy and confidence working with complex systems.
Excellent written and spoken English.
