This role, which will be instrumental in the creation of the future growth strategy, leading the cross functional Central & Southern EMEA sales team, selling both services and technology.

 

The focus will be on delivery of the strategic revenue plan, aligning EMEA sales and account management with product development, marketing, branding and partnerships, to drive profitable growth and execute the strategy to ensure the team achieves their business objectives.

 

The role will report into the CEO of our Transform Business unit and will lead a team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers.  There will be an expectation for travel to ensure relationships are built and maintained both with the internal teams and clients.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Central & Southern EMEA new business revenue acquisition strategy aligned with RWS’s and the business objectives and growth targets. Scope including but not limited to France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Middle East & Africa
  • In collaboration with the leadership team, drive revenue goals, forecast performance, and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
  • Enhance, lead and mentor the sales and account management teams, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and optimizing performance.
  • Oversee the sales process, including client acquisition, retention, and expansion, and implement best practices to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with revenue objectives, ensuring a consistent brand message and customer engagement.
  • Contribute data and market insights to refine marketing strategies, optimize lead generation, and enhance customer acquisition efforts and efficiency.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Oversee the drive of successful onboarding, adoption and overall customer engagement to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that can contribute to revenue growth and expand market reach.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships to drive revenue, increase brand visibility, and unlock new business opportunities.
  • Utilise key performance metrics and data-driven insights to assess revenue performance, track progress against targets, and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Implement reporting mechanisms to provide regular updates on revenue performance to the executive team and stakeholders.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Demonstrable experience of diverse international leadership roles, driving and implementing profitable revenue growth.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through building significant revenue streams, building and running global accounts, establishing and growing alliances/partnerships.
  • Significant experience in general management and P&L supervision.
  • Exposure to product and solution innovation, marketing and branding across complex organisations.
  • Ability to craft and execute a business strategy effectively.
  • Experience in making decisions based on business metrics.
  • Inspirational leadership style and ability to drive transformation across international organisations.
  • Strong technical experience with sales and other business productivity tools.
  • Can inspire colleagues & player coach leadership style: Proven ability to articulate a vision and mobilise an international, multi-cultural team around that vision.
  • Seasoned operator who is able to realise synergies across an organisation through outstanding communication, effective influencing and decision-making ability.
  • Hands-on mentality and pioneering approach with outstanding executive presence and commercial acumen
  • Can challenge their colleagues to positively affect the business, identify and mitigate against risks and work collectively as part of a broader team to problem solve. 
  • Client oriented; can anticipate client’s needs, drive client satisfaction and create deep relationships. 
  • Outstanding operational execution and the ability to work across multiple departments / geographies to ensure the alignment of global sales activities.
  • Effective and charismatic leader with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
