Profile Requirements:

• Min. 4 years of professional video editing experience, preferably with experience in fitness, personal branding, content marketing, media or another high-volume content environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent professional editing software.
• Strong understanding of short-form and long-form storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, sound design, colour grading and social-first video formats.
• Strong creative instincts, with the ability to contribute ideas rather than simply execute an editing brief.
• Highly organised, collaborative and deadline-driven, with the ability to work directly with a Director and manage multiple content projects simultaneously.

Core responsibilities:

• Edit high-quality long-form and short-form video content for The Performance Club, showcasing training, coaches, members, classes, results, culture and the overall brand.
• Edit content for the CEO's personal brand, adapting footage and ideas into engaging videos designed to build authority, trust and audience engagement.
• Work closely with the Director and team to develop content ideas, concepts, hooks and formats that can be turned into repeatable content series.
• Transform raw footage into polished final edits using effective pacing, storytelling, music, captions, B-roll, graphics, sound design and colour grading.
• Repurpose long-form footage into short-form content suitable for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, maximising the value of every recording session.
• Maintain consistent visual and editorial standards across both the company brand and CEO's personal brand, adapting the editing style appropriately for each audience.
• Manage multiple video projects from brief through to final delivery, maintaining organised project files and consistently meeting agreed turnaround times.
• Stay current with video, fitness, creator and social media trends, proactively bringing new creative ideas and editing formats to the Director and testing approaches that can improve content performance.
