Vice President, Provider Solutions DDI Delivery

Summary

The Vice President, Provider Solutions DDI Delivery is the single accountable executive for delivery outcomes across assigned Provider DDIs and owns end-to-end performance across multiple concurrent Medicaid Provider system implementations. This executive converts approved solutions, architecture, cost models, contracts, and staffing assumptions into executable delivery plans and establishes the governance, financial controls, talent, and cross-functional accountability required to deliver commitments with quality and predictability. The role drives resolution, manages and coordinates escalations, and provides concise executive visibility focused on decisions, owners, deadlines, recovery actions, and measurable outcomes. This leader directly manages a team of project-dedicated senior leaders that manage individual implementations.

Your role in our mission

• Own scope, schedule, cost, quality, contractual commitments, go-live, stabilization, and transition to operations across assigned Provider DDIs.
• Maintain an integrated portfolio view of milestones, dependencies, staffing, risks, decisions, financial performance, and recovery actions; provide reporting that drives executive decisions and resolution.
• Maintain high-quality relationships with client executives and implementation teams, effectively managing the relationship to ensure client needs are met and overall client satisfaction.
• Lead integrated governance across Provider DDIs with clear decision rights, participants, outputs, and escalation paths while preserving implementation-level delivery cadences.
• Enforce stage gates and approved baselines across solution strategy, architecture, scope, cost, staffing, schedule, product gaps, dependencies, and operational readiness before commitments advance.
• Effectively drive transformation of solution delivery practices in accordance with organizational strategies and ensure compliance across projects and project teams.
• Align Product, Engineering, Architecture, Solutioning, Implementation, Customer Experience, Systems, Security, Data and Analytics, Finance, Account leadership, and delivery partners to approved commitments, owners, and dates.
• Pressure-test delivery assumptions, surface constraints early, and require executable recovery plans with accountable owners, deadlines, dependencies, and measurable exit criteria.
• Own delivery economics, including budget, forecast, estimate at completion, labor and non-labor costs, change control, revenue timing, margin, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Keep delivery plans, staffing, forecasts, cost models, pricing assumptions, and contractual commitments aligned to an executable baseline, with impacts and tradeoffs visible before decisions are made.
• Drive DDI optimization through standardization, reusable assets, earlier value creation, environment readiness, automation, AI-enabled delivery, and continuous improvement without weakening quality or governance.
• Build a scalable Provider delivery organization with clear roles, RACIs, capacity and succession plans, performance expectations, and closed-loop adoption of lessons learned.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, healthcare administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Fifteen or more years of progressively responsible technology delivery, implementation, operations, or professional-services experience, including ten or more years leading large, matrixed organizations and five or more years at the senior director, vice president, or equivalent level.
• Ten or more years delivering Medicaid, public-sector healthcare, or similarly regulated programs, including leading Medicaid Provider implementations.
• Executive accountability for at least two large-scale, multi-workstream implementations from mobilization through go-live, stabilization, and transition to operations.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent Medicaid Provider implementations or a portfolio with shared product, architecture, engineering, staffing, financial, and client dependencies.
• Demonstrated ownership of integrated delivery planning, stage-gate governance, delivery assurance, risk management, and recovery planning.
• Demonstrated accountability for delivery budgets, forecasts, estimates at completion, labor and non-labor costs, change control, revenue timing, margin, and contractual commitments.
• Proven ability to align senior cross-functional and client leaders to defined decisions, owners, and target dates.
• Quantified improvement in at least two delivery outcomes, such as cost, cycle time, milestone predictability, quality, defect reduction, client readiness, or productivity.
• Proven success managing client relationships at all levels in high-stakes environments.
• Ability to operate at the high and detailed levels of solution delivery (program level and project level), adjusting work style for what’s needed to ensure project and team success.

• Act as a servant leader for the project leaders and teams, rolling up your sleeves when necessary and helping the team solve complex problems related to solution and project delivery, and client engagement.
• A 100% remote role with travel based on client, program, and leadership needs, anticipated up to 15% annually.
