The Opportunity

This is a unique executive leadership opportunity to shape the financial and operational foundation of Revolution Medicines' rapidly expanding JPAC business. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, JPAC, with a dotted-line relationship to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Finance & Operations, JPAC will serve as the senior finance and operations leader across the region.

As a member of the JPAC Leadership Team, this executive will partner closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Legal, Human Resources and Global Finance to enable sustainable business growth while ensuring operational excellence across multiple affiliates and distributor markets.

The Vice President will establish scalable financial and operational infrastructure, drive disciplined business planning, oversee governance and compliance, and provide strategic financial leadership that supports commercialization, affiliate expansion and future portfolio growth across the JPAC region.

Success in the Role

Within the first 24–36 months, the successful leader will:

  • Build a scalable Finance & Operations organization supporting the growth of the JPAC region.

  • Establish robust financial planning, forecasting, reporting and governance processes aligned with global standards.

  • Successfully support multiple oncology product launches through disciplined financial planning and operational readiness.

  • Develop regional financial strategies that optimize investment decisions and maximize long-term business performance.

  • Establish strong operational infrastructure supporting affiliate expansion, distribution models and commercial execution.

  • Implement best-in-class internal controls, compliance frameworks and enterprise risk management across the region.

  • Become a trusted strategic advisor to the SVP, JPAC, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Leadership Team.

  • Build a high-performing regional finance organization that reflects Revolution Medicines' values of innovation, collaboration, integrity and patient focus.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Leadership

  • Serve as a core member of the JPAC Leadership Team, contributing to regional strategy and global enterprise priorities.

  • Partner with the SVP, JPAC to develop and execute the regional business strategy aligned with global corporate objectives.

  • Provide financial leadership supporting commercialization, affiliate expansion and long-term regional growth.

  • Lead strategic planning, portfolio prioritization and investment decisions across the region.

  • Deliver financial insights that support executive decision-making and optimize business performance.

  • Develop strong partnerships with Corporate Finance and Global Functional Leadership to ensure alignment across the enterprise.

Finance & Business Planning

  • Lead all regional financial activities including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting oversight, treasury, procurement, payroll coordination and internal controls.

  • Partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting across all regional legal entities.

  • Lead Long Range Planning, Annual Operating Plans and periodic forecasting across the JPAC region.

  • Oversee regional P&L performance, financial analysis and resource allocation.

  • Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting capabilities and business processes to support future scale.

Operations & Commercial Enablement

  • Lead operational planning supporting commercial launches and affiliate expansion across the region.

  • Oversee regional operational support for distribution, supply chain coordination, logistics and third-party service providers.

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial Operations to ensure operational readiness.

  • Support development of scalable operating models across affiliates and distributor markets.

  • Ensure operational processes enable efficient commercialization while maintaining compliance and business continuity.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness through process optimization and technology.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable financial, legal, regulatory and corporate governance requirements across the region.

  • Lead enterprise risk management, business continuity planning and operational resilience initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain robust internal control frameworks in partnership with Corporate Finance.

  • Oversee financial audits, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance across regional entities.

  • Partner closely with Legal, Tax and Compliance to ensure effective governance of contracts, transfer pricing, procurement and third-party relationships.

  • Promote the highest standards of ethics, integrity and financial stewardship throughout the organization.

Organization & People Leadership

  • Build, develop and lead a high-performing Finance & Operations organization across the JPAC region.

  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative and performance-driven culture aligned with Revolution Medicines' mission and values.

  • Develop leadership capability, succession plans and talent strategies to support long-term organizational growth.

  • Promote strong cross-functional collaboration across regional and global matrix teams.

  • Lead organizational change initiatives while maintaining employee engagement during periods of rapid growth.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline; MBA, CPA, CA or CFA preferred.

  • Significant senior finance leadership experience within the global biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated success leading regional or international finance organizations supporting commercial operations.

  • Experience managing complex regional P&Ls, financial planning and business performance.

  • Experience establishing or scaling finance organizations supporting affiliate growth.

  • Strong understanding of international financial reporting, governance, compliance and internal controls.

  • Experience supporting commercial product launches within pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations.

  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership teams in highly matrixed global organizations.

  • Strong strategic planning, financial analysis and operational leadership capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication, executive influencing and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Oncology or precision medicine experience.

  • Clinical-stage biotechnology or high-growth life sciences organizations.

  • International commercial launch planning.

  • Experience supporting multi-country affiliate operations.

  • Supply chain, logistics and distribution oversight within international markets.

  • Experience leading organizational transformation and business scaling.

  • This role requires regular international travel across the JPAC region and to Revolution Medicines' global offices.
