We’re looking for native-speaking freelance linguists to collaborate with Terra Localizations on upcoming video game translation, editing, proofreading (TEP), and machine translation post-editing (MTPE) projects.

Depending on your expertise and project needs, you may work on translation, editing, proofreading, and/or MTPE of video game content, including dialogue, UI, tutorials, item descriptions, and promotional materials.
Your responsibilities may include:
Translating English content into accurate, natural, and engaging target-language text.
Editing and proofreading translations for accuracy, fluency, consistency, and style.
Post-editing machine-translated content to meet the project’s quality requirements.
Maintaining gaming terminology and following glossaries, style guides, and client instructions.
Identifying linguistic issues and raising questions when context or clarification is needed.
Requirements
Native proficiency in the target language and excellent command of English.
Professional translation, editing, proofreading, and/or MTPE experience.
Experience in video game localization, with a strong understanding of gaming terminology and culture.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows; memoQ experience is a plus.
Ability to follow project guidelines and meet agreed deadlines.
A reliable internet connection.
Applicants must have a recognized translation degree or certification, or a university degree in another field with at least three years of professional translation or interpreting experience.
