About the role
codeCampus is seeking to contract an experienced Science Curriculum Designer to build a Rockets course for its students. As a curriculum designer for codeCampus, you will:
  • Work as an independent contractor with flexible hours + remote work
  • Work closely with our Instructional Team to outline multiple courses for a variety of grade levels
  • Design digital lesson content for grades K-8
  • Align lesson content to state and federal standards
  • Create training and lesson plan content for instructors
About you
Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a science teacher for an elementary or middle school
  • A degree in instructional/curriculum design, science, another related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in a tool such as Photoshop or Illustrator greatly preferred, to design visual lesson assets
  • Expert-level proficiency in the Google Suite to create, share, and collaborate on lesson content
  • Reliable Internet and computer access
  • Flexibile availability for the duration of the contract, at least 1-2 hours/weekday
