About the role
codeCampus is seeking to contract an experienced Science Curriculum Designer to build a Rockets course for its students. As a curriculum designer for codeCampus, you will:
- Work as an independent contractor with flexible hours + remote work
- Work closely with our Instructional Team to outline multiple courses for a variety of grade levels
- Design digital lesson content for grades K-8
- Align lesson content to state and federal standards
- Create training and lesson plan content for instructors
Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a science teacher for an elementary or middle school
- A degree in instructional/curriculum design, science, another related field of study or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in a tool such as Photoshop or Illustrator greatly preferred, to design visual lesson assets
- Expert-level proficiency in the Google Suite to create, share, and collaborate on lesson content
- Reliable Internet and computer access
- Flexibile availability for the duration of the contract, at least 1-2 hours/weekday
