Requirement:Technical Delivery Manager

Job Description: Forge is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead a cross-functional team supporting production operations for a DoW customer. This role will lead the Production Operations Support Team in providing Technical and Operational Support, Cybersecurity and IT Management for the customer while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and also supporting the delivery/release process for Development operations.

Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):

  • Provide leadership and decision making to a cross-functional Production Operations Team supporting Customer Support, IT Management, Cybersecurity and Configuration Control for a DoW operational program
  • Communicate with the Government Customer and other stakeholders on current operational status, plans of execution and other needs for the technical operations for the program
  • Lead the Technical delivery of all facets of Production Operational Support for the program and present COAs and/or Guidance for delivery to the Government customer when necessary
  • Track progress on deliverables and other scheduled operations for the Production Operations Support Team
  • Assist in managing the Agile Team backlog, working with the customer to prioritize and further develop user stories and tasks for the team to work and support
  • Identify, triage, and solve or support the solution of critical Production issues
  • Prepare reports and deliverables
  • Coordinate with the Development Team Leadership and Government Leadership on meeting delivery deadlines for deployments and releases
  • Manage the Cybersecurity team in maintaining the program's security posture as well as its active Authority to Operate (ATO)
  • Provide direction for the IT Infrastructure Team to ensure system reliability and auditability are maintained, and the team is effectively enabling the Development Team
  • Maintain and support an effective Tier 3 Customer Service Team that identifies, triages and clears high-level technical issues on the supported systems

Qualifications/Requirements: The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizen
  • Previous professional experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government, either as a federal employee or contractor is required
  • 8+ years of professional experience as a Project and/or Program Manager supporting software development and/or technology modernization
  • Bachelor's degree, OR 4 additional years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Excellent facilitation, written communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Experience using collaboration tools in the workplace to develop new work products efficiently
  • Experience working within Agile Development Teams
  • Active Tier 2 background investigation or higher, completed or favorably adjudicated within the previous 18 months

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Experiencing managing cross-functional teams of 15+ personnel
  • 15+ years of experience as a Program Manager Experience with Appian
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence Active SAFe certifications
  • Active Security+ Certification
  • Knowledge of Federal Requirements and standards associated with software development
  • Experience working within DoW
