Tech Recruiter (m/f/d) | Freelance | 100% Remote (EU-wide)

Since 2021, I have been, with my company Hugo Schenk UG (haftungsbeschränkt), building long-term partnerships with clients ranging from innovative start-ups and growing SMEs to established international businesses. These companies operate across a variety of sectors, including software and digital solutions, industrial technology, electronics manufacturing, e-mobility and retail.

Rather than operating as a traditional recruitment agency, I believe in working as an integrated recruiting partner, becoming part of each client's team to develop a deep understanding of its business, culture and hiring needs. This hands-on, collaborative approach enables tailored recruiting solutions that create lasting value for clients.

As the company continues to grow, I am looking for a freelance Tech Recruiter (m/f/d) who shares this philosophy and enjoys taking ownership of recruiting projects while building long-term relationships with clients.

This role can be performed from anywhere within the European Union.

Tasks

• Take ownership of the complete end-to-end recruitment process for technical and business roles.
• Become a trusted recruiting partner for clients by developing a deep understanding of their business, culture, teams and hiring needs.
• Advise clients on recruiting strategies, sourcing approaches, hiring processes and market trends to help them attract and hire the right talent.
• Identify and engage suitable candidates through active sourcing and professional networks.
• Conduct professional interviews and present shortlisted candidates together with your assessment and recommendation.
• Coordinate the entire recruitment process while ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both clients and candidates.
• Support salary discussions and offer negotiations between clients and candidates.
• Coordinate and guide Talent Sourcers whenever additional sourcing support is required.

Requirements

• At least 3–4 years of professional experience in Tech Recruiting, Talent Acquisition or Executive Search.
• Proven experience recruiting professionals in Software Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, DevOps or comparable technology fields.
• Experience supporting start-ups, scale-ups and small to medium-sized companies.
• Strong active sourcing skills and experience identifying difficult-to-find talent.
• Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and hiring managers.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• German language skills are a strong advantage but not a requirement.
• Based within the European Union.

Very strong advantage: Experience working with Product Management teams, either through recruiting Product Managers, Product Owners and Product Leaders or through previous experience working in Product Management.
