Salary: $5–$6 per hour
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to support a client that provides home care and senior assistance services. The primary focus of this role is recruitment, with additional support for onboarding, scheduling, and administrative tasks when hiring needs are lower.
Key Responsibilities
- Source qualified caregivers, nurses, and other healthcare candidates.
- Review and manage applicants from platforms such as Indeed and CareerPlug.
- Screen applicants and conduct initial or first-round interviews.
- Present qualified candidates to the client and their team.
- Participate in final interviews when needed.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified caregivers to support staffing needs specially during periods of increased staffing needs .
- Assist with new-hire onboarding and caregiver orientation.
- Provide scheduling support during slower recruitment periods.
- Support the scheduler, HR team, and care coordinator with administrative tasks.
- Handle administrative duties as capacity allows
- Assist with phone calls, outreach, emails, and calendar-related tasks when recruitment volume is lower.
Requirements
- Atleast 1 year of strong healthcare recruitment experience, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing particularly with caregivers or nurses, is strongly preferred.
- Experience using recruitment platforms such as Indeed and CareerPlug is preferred.
- Experience supporting onboarding and orientation.
- Strong English communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with HR and operations teams.
- Flexible and comfortable supporting scheduling and administrative tasks when recruitment volume is lower.
- Reliable availability during the required EST work hours.
- Experience working with Canadian or North American companies is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working with the video / camera turned on as needed.
Basic Requirements
- Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
- Must have relevant work experience.
- Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
- Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
