Serve as the primary system administrator for SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals, managing configurations, reporting, and user permissions. Provide ongoing consulting, troubleshooting, and process optimization support to clients while managing project deliverables.
About the Role:
eSkillz is currently seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals Administrator/Consultant for a part-time contract position within our Professional Services Division. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our SuccessFactors clients, supporting their Performance & Goals Management system administration and optimization needs. These include, but are not limited to, system configuration, biannual release management, consulting on best practices, user data and permission management, troubleshooting, and reporting. We are seeking candidates who are proficient in SuccessFactors Performance & Goals. Knowledge of other SuccessFactors modules is a plus. This role will also be assisting our Microsoft SharePoint clients with managing and updating configurations, documents, and workflows within SharePoint based on client requirements.
About the engagement:
This is a part-time, independent contractor position. It is not a full-time employee role.
Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the United States
Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on client project needs.
Fully remote; contractor provides their own equipment and workspace.
Compensation is an hourly contract rate, commensurate with experience.
What you'll do:
Serve as the main system administrator for the SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals platform. Tasks include:
Set up user and administrator accounts and maintain appropriate access through Role-Based Permissions
Design, configure, and maintain performance form templates, route maps, and form sections, including mid-year and end-of-year assessment forms
Set up and maintain goal plan / work plan templates, and customize goal libraries with organization-specific categories and performance element descriptions
Configure custom fields and dropdown selections, such as aligning goals to strategic plan objectives or competencies
Configure and maintain competency libraries, rating scales, and picklists
Configure email notifications and alerts for form routing and goal/work plan changes
Configure Continuous Performance Management check-ins, activities, and acknowledgments to document ongoing performance discussions
Launch, manage, and monitor performance review cycles, including mass form creation, form routing, and administrative form transfers
Build standard, ad-hoc, and recurring reports (Story Reports, Table Reports, dashboards), including goal/work plan status and audit trail reporting
Troubleshoot system, user data file, and integration issues
Test new release features and upgrades in the test environment, and assist clients with new feature enablement and rollout
Evaluate client enhancement requests, determine feasibility, and recommend the best implementation approach
Analyze current configurations and provide recommendations to optimize the platform
Work with the client to standardize, streamline and coordinate business and system processes. Understand, document, and clearly communicate these business processes to both client stakeholders and internal teams.
Manage project requests, tasks, communication, and timelines for deliverables, and provide regular status updates to clients
Conduct ongoing quality control checks on system configurations
Document system changes, configurations, and decisions, and develop and maintain SOPs, job aids, and user guides
Train system administrators and team members on SuccessFactors Performance & Goals functionality and processes, and support change management efforts
Serve as liaison between client and technical resources as required; escalate issues through the proper channels and work with escalation point person to achieve issue resolution
Be a trusted advisor to the client and be engaged on a regular basis to understand client’s needs
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree desired but not required
At least 2 years of experience working as an Administrator or Consultant of SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals
2 to 5+ years of experience in medium-to-large organizations in an HRIS, application, help desk or HR technology support role
Implementation and HR suite experience is a plus
Strong experience in customer support, client management, or training
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective organization and project management skills
Position is remote, so you must have access to your own reliable computer, hard-wired internet connection and accessible phone
Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the United States
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule and reliably meet client deadlines
Experience with web conferencing software, particularly MS Teams, GoToMeeting, or WebEx
Bonus points if you have:
Have strong presentation, communication, and consulting skills.
Have experience in multiple SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Compensation, Succession & Development)
Hold an active SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals certification
Have experience supporting federal government clients
