Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

• PMI Certified associate in project management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (desired).

• 5+ years of project management experience, including IT or related business experience.

• 3+ years supporting projects in Sales, Marketing, Pricing, CRM, customer experience, order-to-cash, field enablement, distribution, manufacturing, or commercial technology environments preferred.

• Experience working with project life cycle methodologies, including waterfall, agile, hybrid, and product/wave-based delivery models.

• Experience influencing and managing cross-functional project teams without formal direct reporting relationships.

• Knowledge of PMI-based project management competency areas and experience applying these methods to deliver successful projects.

• Analytical skills required to manage budgeting, forecasting, risk management, process management, quality control, reporting, and executive-ready status communications.

• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management and translate between business and technical audiences.

• Experience with Sales or commercial platforms such as Salesforce or CRM applications, pricing tools, customer analytics, marketing automation, ERP integrations, order management, reporting tools, or field technology preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, and project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Manages 3-5 small- to medium-scale Sales technology projects from planning to completion by facilitating working sessions, building and maintaining project plans, managing schedules and resource forecasts, tracking deliverables, and escalating issues with clear recommendations.

• Partners with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, IT, vendor, and field stakeholders to clarify scope, success metrics, dependencies, adoption needs, and decision points. Translates business needs into actionable delivery plans and keeps technical and non-technical audiences aligned.

• Manages project financials by building forecasts, tracking actuals, validating budget assumptions, documenting cost drivers, and communicating budget impacts or tradeoffs to leadership.

• Coordinates the work of assigned project resources by requesting support based on project needs, clarifying roles and responsibilities, facilitating team meetings, following up on action items, and providing feedback on delivery quality and accountability.

• Manages risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies by identifying trigger events, documenting mitigation plans, supporting contingency planning, and influencing stakeholders to take timely action.

• Supports vendor oversight for Sales technology initiatives by tracking contractual deliverables, coordinating vendor timelines, supporting RFI/RFP activities as directed, and ensuring vendor work is aligned to project commitments.

• Adheres to enterprise project management practices by maintaining project artifacts, tracking key metrics, supporting governance routines, capturing lessons learned, and contributing continuous improvement ideas to the PMO.

• Provides hands-on project support when needed, which may include coordinating data validation, adoption readiness, training materials, rollout logistics, reporting, meeting notes, or other non-standard tasks required to keep delivery moving.
