Role Summary: 

We are seeking a strategic payroll partner to drive the transformation and optimization of our global payroll operations. This role goes beyond execution—you will shape and deliver complex, multi-country payroll initiatives, including vendor migrations, system implementations, and process standardization.

Leveraging deep U.S. payroll expertise and strong global regulatory awareness, you will partner with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Technology to elevate service delivery, strengthen controls, and embed scalable, compliant solutions.

This is a high-impact role for someone who combines project leadership, technical payroll expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset to influence change and deliver measurable business outcomes on a global scale.
 

Responsabilities:

  • Oversee payroll time logs, time corrections, tax adjustments and all other electronic paper or interfaces related to the company’s ongoing payroll processes.

  • Ensure payroll is closed accurately by performing all data collection, reconciliation, and application of payroll policies for area of responsibility.

  • Communicate with all levels of the organization effectively by responding in a timely manner and providing friendly customer service.

  • Document and maintain payroll procedures.

  • Review and continually improve payroll processing with the key objective to simplify, standardize and build capacity on the team.

  • Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports on an as needed basis.

  • Ensure exceptional service and meet all service level requirements for payroll.

  • Address issues and provide resolution when service level requirements are not accomplished.

  • Ensure compliance with existing controls including SOX compliance, internal audit, Flowserve policies, payroll procedures, and country, state or city laws.

  • Review and audit all hours, earnings, deductions, manual checks, and special actions prior to each payroll processing.

  • Provide strong support to our employees by providing answers that are compliant with payroll laws and union agreements.

  • Ensure data integrity in the payroll system and systems that impact payroll.

  • Perform special projects at the request of as necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Must have experience with vendor migration

  • Proven record of project managing experience (Time and attendance, Benefits, HCM or payroll vendor system set-up or change)

  • Must possess an attention to detail and accuracy as it relates to payroll project tracking and migration data auditing.

  • Must have strong ethical standards and ability to work with confidential data.

  • Familiarity with of Kronos time and attendance system.

  • Relationship building with Region HR, payroll staff, technical team, other HR teams and business leaders to ensure consistent quality service delivery.

  • Possess strong customer service focus and understand proper customer relationship practices.

  • International Payroll, US Payroll experience.

  • Excellent English communication skills both oral and written and ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.

  • Strong escalation skills with the ability to own, de-escalate, determine root cause, and implement risk avoidance improvements.

  • Ability to run and create reports.

  • Be comfortable with technology and possess excellent Excel skills and MS office usage

  • BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience

Preferred:

  • Background working with ADP and other vendors in addition to ADP is a plus.

  • US payroll experience (ADP WFN product )
