  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, and Operations on cross-functional initiatives and organizational improvements.
  • Support organizational change, acquisitions, and integrations by aligning HR programs, systems, and processes.

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Oversee health and welfare benefits, retirement programs, annual open enrollment, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
  • Direct administration of FMLA, state paid leave programs, statutory disability benefits, and company-provided leaves.
  • Establish consistent leave administration procedures, resolve escalated issues, and support regulatory compliance.

HRIS, Data, and Process Improvement

  • Oversee UKG Pro administration, including system configuration, workflows, reporting, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Lead HR data governance initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
  • Develop reporting and analytics to support operational decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement automation, standardized processes, and system improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Oversee PTO and timekeeping administration, ensuring policy compliance, data accuracy, and effective coordination with Payroll and Operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure HR administrative practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and implement necessary policy and procedural changes.
  • Establish internal controls, documentation standards, and audit procedures to mitigate organizational risk.
Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, including substantial experience in HR operations, benefits, leave administration, and HRIS.
  • 3+ years of experience leading HR teams, functions, or large-scale initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in UKG Pro, including Business Intelligence reporting, workflow configuration, system administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation, and analysis of large datasets.
  • Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed workforces, including union and non-union employee populations.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment regulations, employee benefits compliance, and leave administration.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects, improving processes, and managing external vendors.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently research complex issues, develop practical solutions, and manage competing priorities with limited direction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
