We’re looking for a Sr. Data Solutions Consultant to join our team in North America. In this role, you will help customers turn complex business and operational data into reliable reporting and analytics. You will partner with customers, project teams, consultants, and technical stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, shape solution design, and guide delivery from discovery through production support.
This role sits within Planview’s Analytics & Data Solutions organization and combines
business analysis with hands-on reporting and data validation. You will work across
reporting configurations, custom reports, data marts, analytical models, dashboards, and
data pipelines. You will also help establish repeatable practices and reusable assets that
improve delivery quality and customer outcomes.

• Lead discovery sessions with customers and internal stakeholders to understand
  business objectives, reporting needs, data sources, and success measures.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements & acceptance criteria.
• Guide delivery of reporting and analytics solutions using technologies such as
  Power BI, SSRS, OData, data marts, tabular models, and custom report
  configurations.
• Assist with QA of delivered products (analyze source and target data, write or review
  SQL queries, validate transformations, and investigate data-quality, reconciliation,
  refresh, and lineage issues).
• Plan and support user acceptance testing; coordinate test scenarios, validate
  results, manage defects, and support production readiness.
• Perform structured root-cause analysis and communicate findings, risks,
  dependencies, and recommended corrective actions to both technical and non-
  technical audiences.
• Manage multiple customer workstreams with appropriate prioritization, status
  reporting, documentation, and escalation of delivery risks.
• Create and maintain documentation (reporting specifications knowledge-base
  content, etc.).
• Mentor team members and contribute to standards, reusable templates,
  estimation practices, and continuous improvements across Analytics & Data
  Solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, reporting and/or
  data solutions.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and translating business
  processes into practical technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of reporting and analytics concepts, including metrics,
  dimensions, data models, filters, calculations, refreshes, and data lineage.
• Hands-on experience with one or more business intelligence or reporting platforms,
  such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or equivalent technologies.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation,
  troubleshooting, and ad hoc investigation.
• Experience documenting and validating integrations, APIs, OData feeds, ETL/data
  pipelines, or other system-to-system data flows.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, ask effective discovery questions, challenge
  assumptions constructively, and build alignment among stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex
  data and technical topics clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and deliver high-
  quality outcomes in a customer-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Planview Portfolios, Planview AdaptiveWork or another enterprise
  portfolio, resource, project, or work-management platform.
• Experience designing or supporting custom reports, report tiles, data marts, or
  semantic models.
• Experience with data-quality frameworks, reconciliation controls, data governance,
  or master-data processes.
• Experience working with cloud-hosted SaaS platforms, scheduled jobs, or
  monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with DAX, Power Query, dataflows, Python, PowerShell, or other
  scripting and automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science,
  engineering, analytics, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
