About the Role

Solutions Consultants sit at the intersection of commercial and technical domains, and they're among the most crucial positions in our revenue team. You'll work directly with prospects and customers to understand their learning and performance challenges, design compelling solutions using our full product suite, and bring those solutions to life through demonstrations and proposals.

This isn't a back-office technical support role. You'll be in the room (or on the call) with COOs, L&D Directors, and HR leaders, helping them see what they can achieve and why Learning Pool is the right partner to get them there.

You'll be particularly well-positioned if you have experience with frontline organizations in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, or logistics, where the challenge isn't just building great learning, it's helping workers who don't sit at a desk perform at their best.

Location: Remote within the USA, Central or Eastern time zones preferred. Candidates must have the right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

What you will be doing

Role and responsibilities include:

  • Lead technical discovery with prospects, asking the right questions to understand their current state, ambitions, and constraints.
  • Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect Learning Pool's capabilities to each prospect's specific outcomes.
  • Contribute to high-quality RFP responses and commercial proposals.
  • Act as the technical voice in sales cycles, credibly engaging with IT, security, and integration questions, as well as L&D strategy.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure smooth handoffs and a consistent customer experience from first demo to go-live.
  • Contribute to the development of demo environments, internal playbooks, and enablement materials for the wider revenue team.
  • Feed market and customer insight back into product roadmap conversations.

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • You know the HR tech space: You understand how modern learning functions operate. The difference between tools isn't just technical for you, it's strategic. You can have a credible conversation with a CLO about learning culture, impact, and what good looks like.
  • You've worked with or sold into frontline organisations: You understand the unique challenges of reaching deskless workers: high turnover, no corporate email, shift-based schedules, and compliance requirements that can't slip: Experience in retail, hospitality, healthcare, or logistics is a real advantage.
  • You're technically grounded: You're comfortable configuring platforms, understanding integration requirements, and engaging with IT stakeholders on security and data questions. Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms is essential.
  • You're a strong communicator: You can switch from a technical deep-dive with an IT architect to a value conversation with a CFO. You write clearly and present confidently.
  • You're commercially aware: You understand what drives buying decisions and how to support the sales process without carrying the quota. You know when a prospect is genuinely stuck versus testing the water.
  • You're self-sufficient: This is a remote role. You manage your time well, follow up without being chased, and know how to stay connected to a distributed team.
