Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.35171)

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

1. Implemented a neural network learning algorithm in Python;

2. Experimented with different learning parameters and network architectures for the algorithm;

3. Java, Scheme, and Python;

4. Neural network algorithms, and e-puck robots;

5. Implementing a web-based application Petri Net editor, and integrating with a customized user interface;

6. Incorporating the operation-editing function and integrating a Petri Net logic-checking algorithm in JavaScript;

7. Developed a URL shortener using the MEAN stack, including MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, and Node.js;

8. Employed Redis as cache database and Nginx HTTP server, reverse proxy server, and load balancer;

9. Dockerized the server and persisted data to Cassandra;

10. HTML, CSS, JQuery, and Javascript;

11. Hibernate ORM, PostgreSQL, and MySQL;

12. Apache maven and tomcat;

13. Mockito and Junit;

14. Spring; and,

15. Angular JS.
