Position Summary
As a Senior Technical Engagement Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving customer success by understanding our clients' businesses and delivering innovative cloud solutions. This is your chance to join a dynamic team and help shape the future of cloud services!

What You'll Do
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team to support and deliver assigned cloud design/build and managed operations work activities
- Lead complex technical projects through the full lifecycle with accountability for schedules, scope alignment, dependencies, communications, risks, and issue resolution, budget, staffing, and margins
- Recognize the necessity for implementing change management processes during an active project
- Serve as the main point of contact for our clients and engagement teams
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine project management procedures, reporting, and optimization efforts across technical delivery
- Leverage technology, automation, and tooling to improve workflows, visibility, and operational efficiency
- Create or updating training materials, project artifacts, and best practices to help strengthen consistent delivery execution
- Work closely with delivery leadership to achieve utilization, forecasting, and delivery performance targets
- Escalate client and project issues in a timely manner to inform and engage the necessary resources to address issues
- Take the lead in risk reporting and identifying high risk clients, projects, dependencies, and technical delivery concerns for escalation
- Collaborate with delivery leadership, quality management, sales, architects, engineers, and operations teams to drive the best customer experience
- Serve as a subject matter expert on technical project delivery across cloud design/build and M&O engagements
- Leverage understanding of security principles and best practices to balance them with various compliance frameworks, and advise clients accordingly
- Stay informed on industry trends and changes and advising clients accordingly
- Execute and controlling project management work as an individual across assigned client engagements
- Guide projects through proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, dependency management, and issue resolution
- Manage overall project coordination: scheduling, assigning tasks, enabling clear and consistent client communication, and escalating issues when necessary to ensure successful resolution and project completion
- Create and executing project schedules and revising those work plans as appropriate to meet changing client needs, delivery priorities, and technical requirements
- Lead project status meetings to include information regarding schedules, dependencies, technical data requirements, action items, assignments, risks, issues, changes
- Communicate project resources needed and collaborating with teams to assign individual responsibilities across technical and operational workstreams
- Interface with clients through the entire engagement and interacting with numerous levels of client personnel and organizations, including occasional C-suite interaction
- Establish and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of technical project/program management experience
- 5+ years of external client facing experience
- Experience leading cross functional technical projects through the full project lifecycle
- Strong risk management, issue escalation, stakeholder communication, and executive-ready reporting skills
- Consulting or professional services experience, including familiarity with managing cloud or technical projects
- Ability to independently manage complex delivery schedules, dependencies, and multi-workstream coordination
- Understanding of project management best practices and proven success in a professional services, consulting, or technology delivery environment
- Knowledge of frameworks like FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, etc.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platform capabilities and services
- Understanding of SecOps, SOC/NOC, vulnerability management, incident response, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring
- Understanding of the fundamentals of change management processes & procedures
- Excellent communication skills including executive level communication experience
- Hybrid, Agile, or iterative delivery methodology experience
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Experience using technology automations, workflow tools, or AI-enabled approaches as part of process improvement strategies
- Ability to provide mentorship and coaching to help other team members enhance their technical and consulting skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration or related field
- US citizenship (required due to client contractual requirements)

- Cloud-based networking experience with tools like Palo Alto, Cisco ASAv, VPC peering, Transit Gateway, etc.

$89,000 - $149,000 a year
The salary range listed is a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
