Role Summary The Senior Sales Lead - Texas will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market penetration, and customer engagement across Texas and the broader South Central region of the United States. This senior commercial role will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build executive-level customer relationships, lead complex sales cycles, and collaborate with global cross-functional teams to expand Camlin's presence within utility, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and rail markets. The successful candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge, a strong network within the Texas utility sector, and commercial leadership experience to grow Camlin's market position, build a sustainable sales pipeline, and deliver long-term customer value.

Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute a Texas-focused sales strategy to achieve annual revenue, profitability, and market growth targets.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipal utilities, renewable energy operators, and rail customers.
• Lead end-to-end enterprise sales engagements, from prospecting and stakeholder mapping through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award.
• Work closely with engineering, product management, marketing, and operations teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, market intelligence, and competitive analysis for regional and executive leadership.

Customer & Market Development

• Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, asset managers, engineering leaders, procurement teams, and key decision-makers across Texas utilities and infrastructure operators.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to customers, helping them address grid reliability, asset management, digitalisation, and energy transition challenges.
• Represent Camlin at industry conferences, utility forums, trade associations, and customer events throughout Texas and North America.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with distributors, channel partners, consultants, and industry influencers.

Leadership & Strategic Influence

• Act as the senior commercial lead for Texas, championing Camlin's customer-centric approach and growth strategy.
• Influence regional sales initiatives and contribute to broader North American market development objectives.
• Mentor junior sales professionals and share best practices across the commercial organisation.
• Support strategic account planning and collaborate with senior leadership on market expansion initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of successful enterprise sales experience within the energy, utilities, electrical infrastructure, industrial technology, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated success selling complex technical solutions, software platforms, or asset monitoring technologies to utility and infrastructure customers.
• Strong understanding of the Texas energy market, including investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, cooperatives, transmission operators, and renewable energy developments.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Must be based in Texas and willing to travel extensively throughout the region and occasionally internationally.

Preferred Experience

• Established relationships within key Texas utilities, energy operators, EPC firms, or rail organisations.
• Experience working with channel partners, distributors, and system integrators.
• Knowledge of grid monitoring technologies, digital transformation initiatives, AI-driven analytics, or asset performance management solutions.
• Experience selling into transmission, distribution, renewable energy, or critical infrastructure markets.
• MBA or advanced technical qualification desirable.
