Our client is an Israel-based company building next-generation infrastructure for Big Data systems. Backed by top investors including Hertz Ventures, Sierra Ventures, and Essence, the company is led by founders with proven success in cloud infrastructure and B2B SaaS. Their leadership has experience scaling companies like Granulate (acquired for $650M) and building teams and revenue from the ground up.

They’re now expanding their core R&D team and looking for engineers who are excited to solve complex technical challenges. If you're ready to make an impact and work with some of the brightest minds in the field, this is the place to do it.

We're interested in A-level senior engineers who:

• Have 5+ years of relevant experience in systems programming
• Can own complex performance-critical components end-to-end
• Are comfortable navigating hardware/software boundaries, memory management, I/O tuning, and concurrency

• Can collaborate with top engineers and deliver impact without hand-holding

With a proven track record in:

• Systems programming in Rust
• Low-level performance optimization
• Building high-performance infrastructure and distributed systems

Must-Have Requirements:

• Expertise in Rust
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals
• Experience in low-level system architecture
• Experience with multi-threading, memory layout optimization, or custom allocators
• Proven ability to take full ownership of complex challenges from inception to delivery, with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to dive into unfamiliar codebases and optimize them quickly
• Comfortable working with minimal abstraction layers in high-performance environments
• Level of spoken English: Fluent (C1)

Your day-to-day in this position

• Accelerating distributed systems like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Ray
• Building native Rust-based execution engines
• Deep performance tuning (e.g., SIMD, cache locality, zero-copy IO)
