Group 1001 is a consumer-centric, technology-driven family of insurance companies on a mission to deliver outstanding value and operational performance by combining financial strength and stability with deep insurance expertise and a can-do culture. Group1001’s culture emphasizes the importance of collaboration, communication, core business focus, risk management, and striving for outcomes. This goal extends to how we hire and onboard our most valuable assets – our employees.

Company Overview:

Gainbridge, a part of the Group 1001 enterprise, is a self-managed, innovative, digital platform providing its clients with direct access to trusted financial products to smartly grow their savings over time. Gainbridge strives to offer products through its platform that are simple, intuitive, and backed by smart technology with no complexity or hidden fees. Gainbridge empowers clients to take control of the financial future with simple solutions that are accessible to everyone no matter their budget.

Why This Role Matters:

This role owns the end-to-end development of new financial products for a mobile-first, direct-to-consumer platform. From initial concept to build, launch, and post-launch iteration, this Product Manager is responsible for bringing new savings and annuity products to market that are simple, trustworthy, and built to scale.

Along with deep product design and strategy skills, this is a highly cross-functional role. The Product Manager will partner with a dedicated product squad, as well as Legal/Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and Strategy, to take products from zero to one and ensure each new offering is compliant, transparent, and customer-centric.

How You'll Contribute:

As the Product Manager for Customer Acquisition, you will:

  • Own the new product vision and roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business opportunity, customer research, and effort.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs, pain points, and trust drivers, balancing these qualitative insights with quantitative data trends.
  • Conduct competitive product analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for new savings and annuity products and translate them into product concepts.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering on rapid prototyping and iteration cycles to test new product concepts, features, and pricing structures before full-scale launch.
  • Develop product metrics (e.g., adoption rate, time-to-launch, early retention, customer feedback scores) with robust instrumentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Marketing and Compliance teams to design new products that are both simple to understand and robust in terms of regulatory requirements.
  • Become the expert and point of contact for all new-product-related questions, feedback, and requests across the organization and with key external partners.
  • Write clear, concise PRDs and product specs, including problem statements, hypotheses, success metrics, and rollout plans, that both technical and non-technical stakeholders can act on.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, concept iteration, and content generation while maintaining rigorous standards for data quality and regulatory sensitivity.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, specifically with a track record of taking new products from concept to launch (0-to-1 experience strongly preferred).
  • Data-driven decision maker with a track record of using evidence (customer research, market sizing, pilot results, cohort analysis) to guide every priority.
  • Ability to turn abstract complexity (risk checks, regulations, eligibility rules) into simple, intuitive product experiences without sacrificing compliance or trust.
  • Skilled at prioritizing tradeoffs between speed to market, customer experience, compliance, and long-term brand equity, and aligning teams on those decisions.
  • Strong communicator who can articulate strategies, tradeoffs, and launch results to Marketing, Engineering, Design, Operations, Legal, and Executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ownership mindset with the ability to independently chart strategy, execute, and iterate quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Go-to-market leader with experience partnering with Marketing to plan and execute launches, positioning, and lifecycle programs that scale and sustain product adoption.
  • Regular user of AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and execution while applying strong judgment in a regulated domain.

Nice to Have:

  • Fintech or Insurtech experience, particularly launching new financial or insurance products.
  • Startup or high-growth background, especially in 0-to-1 product environments.
  • Experience in another function (e.g., engineering, design, data science) that informs cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience defining and leveraging AI/ML for new product use cases (e.g., pricing optimization, personalization, product recommendation engines).

How This Role Connects to Our Values:

We look for product leaders with a proven ownership mindset, who dig into problems and opportunities with minimal direction. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by learning, experimentation, and iterating on product strategies with others. We support whole-person growth through flexibility, development, and inclusive practices, and are committed to building a diverse team that reflects the customers we serve.
