We are seeking two motivated, highly technical professionals to join our Messaging team, a Senior Messaging Analyst and a Messaging Analyst. While each role has distinct responsibilities based on the position description, both play a critical role in delivering reliable, modern, and secure IMT services that support the Government of Alberta.
Senior Messaging Analyst (SA3)
The Senior Messaging Analyst delivers technical analysis, design, implementation, support, and operations of IMT services, while providing technical leadership to ensure Messaging services remain stable, modern, and resilient. This role is accountable for service delivery, continuous improvement, and the successful implementation and management of IMT services. Working closely with GoA staff, contractors, external service providers, and leadership, the Senior Messaging Analyst provides expert guidance, drives operational excellence, and leads complex technical initiatives.

Messaging Analyst (SA2)
The Messaging Analyst delivers technical analysis, design, implementation, support, and operations of IMT services, contributing to the ongoing stability, modernization, and resilience of the Messaging environment. Working collaboratively with GoA staff, contractors, external service providers, and Technology Support and Operations teams, this role supports service delivery, implements new technologies, and resolves technical and operational issues.

Term of Employment: Up to two (2) Full-Time Temporary (1-year term) positions, with the potential for an additional Permanent Full-Time opportunity.
Hours of Work: 7.25 hours daily / 36.25 weekly – Monday to Friday
Location: Remote across Alberta
These positions are eligible for remote work. You must reside in Alberta to work remotely for these positions.
Final candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced security screening.
