AI Summary

The role involves planning, launching, and scaling high-performing media campaigns on Meta and Google to drive profitable e-commerce growth. You will be responsible for monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, and collaborating with creative teams to optimize ad angles and user experience.

Company Overview:
Truegenics Pte Ltd is a leading ecommerce company based in Singapore with a track record of over US$218M in online product sales. We specialise in e-retailing our own brand of health supplements to a global audience. We strive to create value and make a positive difference in the world, one life at a time. We believe that even the smallest action can define one’s destiny, and are committed to the creation of products that enhance the lives of our consumers.

Mission of the Role:

The mission of this role is to drive profitable e-commerce growth by executing and optimizing high-performing media buys across platforms, responsibly managing four-figure daily budgets to hit target ROAS while maintaining a great user experience (including weekend performance reviews). This role goes beyond adjusting budgets and switching ads on or off. You’ll help find customer angles, shape creative tests, and give specific feedback to our copywriting and creative teams. You’ll be accountable for the performance of your projects while working with the Media Buying Lead on priorities and broader strategy.

This role starts off as a 6-month contract role, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position subject to individual performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own direct response projects on Meta. Plan, launch, manage, and scale campaigns for assigned products or offers, with clear targets for acquisition and profitability.
  • Turn data into decisions. Monitor spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, conversion rate, average order value, and other relevant funnel metrics. Diagnose performance changes and propose actions based on the evidence.
  • Build a testing plan. Develop hypotheses, prioritise tests, define what success looks like, and use the results to decide what to scale, revise, or stop.
  • Find angles and guide creative development. Research customers, competitors, and market trends to identify fresh angles and hooks. Brief copywriters and designers, then give practical feedback on ad copy, images, and videos using performance data and your understanding of the audience.
  • Manage budgets responsibly and optimise for ROI. Allocate spend across campaigns and tests, respond to performance changes, and scale what works while meeting profitability and return on investment (ROI) targets.
  • Work across the customer journey. Look beyond ad metrics to identify issues with landing pages, offers, checkout, tracking, or attribution, and work with the relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Communicate clearly. Share concise performance updates, explain what you’ve learned, and recommend the next actions for each project.
  • Maintain campaign quality. Follow Meta advertising policies, ensure ads provide a positive user experience, and review live campaigns regularly, including weekend performance checks when required.
  • Handle any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or higher (preferably in business/marketing or a related field) with 2 years of experience running marketing campaigns for e-commerce stores to generate revenue.
  • Strong proven knowledge of media-buying platforms and its compliance/guidelines such as Facebook, Bing, and Google Ads.
  • At least 2 years and 1 year of hands-on experience managing Facebook Ads and Google Ads respectively.
  • Analytical mindset and a self-starter with the ability to develop solutions and next steps for campaign testing.
  • Positive and can-do attitude when handling new marketing campaigns that require rigorous testing.
  • Sense of ownership in one’s performance and its impact on company’s success which includes responsibly managing a 4-figure media buying daily budget and achieving the target ROAS.
  • Conversant in English and possess a creative mindset which will be useful for creating and writing advertising assets in the form of copy, video, and images that suit the target audience.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research, explore customer angles, develop testing ideas, and analyse campaign results, while checking outputs against actual performance data and advertising guidelines.

Key Technical Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of Facebook Platforms
  • Skills and experience with programs such as Canva and Photoshop are advantageous.
  • Good understanding of media analytics tools such as Google Analytics UA & GA4.
  • Familiarity with other tracking platforms such as Voluum, Hyros, Redtrack is a bonus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Tools

Remote Working Setup

  • A computer with suitable performance.
  • At least two monitor screens, including the laptop screen.
  • A noise-cancelling headset with microphone and a webcam.
  • A designated workstation in a quiet, conducive environment.
  • Reliable power and internet connectivity.

The Ideal Candidate

You’re a hands-on media buyer who enjoys the challenge of growing sales profitably. You’ve managed e-commerce campaigns on Meta, know how to make decisions when performance changes, and are comfortable being accountable for a four-figure daily budget. You can explain what the numbers are telling you, what you’ll test next, and when it makes sense to scale or pull back.

You bring more than platform expertise. You’re curious about customers, offers, and the reasons people buy. You can spot promising angles, brief copywriters and designers clearly, and use campaign results to make creative feedback more specific. When an ad performs poorly, you look across the full customer journey before deciding what needs to change.

You take ownership of your projects, communicate your thinking concisely, and stay attentive to live campaign performance, including weekend checks when needed.
