Senior Manager, Regional Account Management

Full time, Australia

As a Senior Regional Account Manager you will oversee and enhance the performance of a portfolio of regional and global client accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for driving client retention, business growth, operational excellence, and financial performance across the assigned region. Working closely with Global Account Managers, clients, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure successful delivery of travel program objectives while building strong client relationships and supporting strategic business initiatives.

As a Senior Manager, Regional Account Management you will

• Manage and grow relationships with assigned regional and global client accounts.
• Ensure client retention, satisfaction, and achievement of contractual commitments.
• Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with global account strategies.
• Monitor account performance, financial results, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and present performance insights to clients.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
• Support regional implementation of new business and program enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and affiliates to ensure service excellence.
• Manage regional reporting, operational escalations, and business continuity planning.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to account team members where applicable.

About you 

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing regional or global travel programs across multiple markets.
• Proven experience in an outsourced travel management role.
• Strong understanding of business travel operations and account management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience working with SLAs, KPIs, and client performance reporting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Fluent in business English.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
