Salary: Depending on experience the salary is up to $180,000/year + 15% quarterly bonus structure + full benefits

About the role

As a Senior Architect within the Client Solutions Services team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through the evaluation, design, implementation, and optimization of their infrastructure solutions. You will bring deep architectural expertise across multiple technology domains, including Cisco networking, Citrix VDI, Microsoft Azure, and NetApp storage, along with broad knowledge of data center networking, cloud, compute, storage, and adjacent infrastructure technologies.

This role requires a blend of technical architecture expertise, business insight, and exceptional consulting skills to help clients achieve their strategic goals.

Client Advisory and Consultation

• Act as a strategic advisor, providing expert guidance on infrastructure solutions that align with client business objectives.
• Engage with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and technical requirements.
• Support Insight Sales Teams when they engage with customers to understand their business goals, challenges, and requirements.
• Deliver technical guidance and best practices on solutions, products, and services.
• Provide architecture-level expertise across Cisco, Citrix VDI, Microsoft Azure, and NetApp solutions, including evaluating current environments and developing future-state architectures.
• Position solutions including architectures and Insight services that include follow-on workshops, proof of concepts, pilots, strategy and roadmap development, deployment, and integration services.
• Participate in the creation, review, and revision of Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting scoping documents.

Delivery of Advisory Services

• Lead creation of high-level solution architectures and roadmaps that align with customer objectives.
• Participate in or lead client-facing advisory workshops and assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, sales, and services to develop infrastructure solutions.
• Develop integrated infrastructure architectures incorporating Cisco networking, Citrix VDI, Microsoft Azure, and NetApp technologies based on client requirements.
• Design, oversee implementation, and provide feedback on optimizing solutions in customer environments, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability.
• Provide oversight to follow-on professional services engagements.
• Complete client deliverables and supporting documents.
• Work in conjunction with other advisory teammates to develop and ensure successful infrastructure solutions.
• Provide feedback on client needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Stay current on the latest domain-specific technologies, trends, and innovations, and maintain relevant certifications and accreditations.
• Research and make recommendations for strategic business development plans that have a significant impact on Insight business.

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years of experience working with solutions in the data center networking and infrastructure space.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting and customer-facing roles.
• Strong architecture-level experience designing and advising on enterprise Cisco networking solutions.
• Strong architecture-level experience with Citrix VDI environments and solutions.
• Strong architecture-level experience designing and advising on Microsoft Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Strong architecture-level experience with NetApp enterprise storage solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to assess existing environments and develop high-level architectures, technology strategies, roadmaps, and recommendations across Cisco, Citrix VDI, Azure, and NetApp.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure products, services, and solutions and their integration with other technologies and platforms.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth and client success.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders, present to executive audiences, and communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Proficiency in developing compelling presentations and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations.
• Strong project management, teamwork, and collaboration skills with the ability to lead and mentor others.
• Relevant intermediate or advanced certifications in infrastructure technology domains.
• Ability to develop and execute strategy with limited direction and oversight.
• Ability to research and make recommendations for strategic technology plans that have a significant impact for clients.
• Strong desire to drive client success.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% to the client site in Austin, TX.
