Your Role as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst:
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst owns Power BI reporting and analytics for Fusable's Digital business, including client-facing intelligence products, campaign pacing, and audience and contact data insights. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role responsible for building clear, usable, visually strong reporting grounded in a deep understanding of the underlying data. As part of Digital's ongoing use of Power BI within Microsoft Fabric, this role supports reporting best practices and consistency within the Digital organization, working alongside IT and Data Engineering, who own platform architecture and data governance at the company level. This role does not own enterprise BI platforms, enterprise reporting architecture, ERP reporting, or company-wide data governance. Core scope includes internal operational reporting and campaign pacing, ownership of a client-facing intelligence platform currently in transition from an outside development partner, contact data health monitoring for Digital's audience and client base, and the data delivery pipeline connecting Digital's internal and third-party data sources. Reports directly to the SVP, Audience and Media.
A Day in the Life of a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst:
Power BI Report & Dashboard Development: Owns the design and build of Power BI reports and dashboards for Digital's internal staff and client-facing stakeholder audiences, with a strong emphasis on visual clarity, usability, and interactivity. Translate complex underlying data structures and relationships into intuitive layouts and navigation that non-technical stakeholders can act on or surface insights quickly. Build report-level DAX measures, calculations, and reusable reporting assets for the Digital business. Partner with IT and Data Engineering, who own semantic model design, data structures, security frameworks, and workspace architecture at the company level, to ensure Digital's dashboards sit on trusted, well-understood data foundations, while owning the reporting-layer business logic, visualization strategy, and end-user experience within Digital.
Client-Facing Intelligence Platform: Take on ownership of a client-facing reporting platform currently maintained by an outside development partner, transitioning development in-house. Close out remaining platform parity items and build toward a market and dealer intelligence layer for Digital clients using proprietary company data, including benchmarking, trend analysis, and segmentation by category. Support automated alerting products that connect digital campaign activity to downstream business outcomes.
Internal Operational Reporting & Campaign Pacing: Own internal Power BI dashboards and automated alerts covering account performance, revenue, and campaign pacing for Digital leadership and account management teams. Build fiscal calendar-based budget tracking and spend allocation logic for flighted, intra-month campaigns. Migrate legacy pacing views into Power BI as automated alerts, including flags for active campaigns without budget and inactive campaigns with budget. Provide a leadership-level view of key account metrics.
Contact Data Health Monitoring: Monitor the health and hygiene of contact records relevant to Digital's audience and client base across core business systems, flagging incomplete, duplicate, or degraded records. Develop and maintain a framework for identifying and scoring the company's most valuable audience segments based on engagement, fit, and conversion signals.
Data Delivery Pipeline: Monitor inbound and outbound data flows across Digital's core reporting and paid media systems, flagging sync failures, dropped identifiers, or match rate degradation before they impact live running campaigns. Establish baseline monitoring and alerting where none currently exists.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for Digital business reporting, dashboard adoption, and analytics requirements. Partner with IT and Data Engineering, who own company-level data systems architecture, semantic model design, workspace governance, and security infrastructure, to ensure Digital's reporting is properly supported by the proprietary data assets it depends on. Maintain alignment with the Director, CRM and Identity and Audience Development teams to ensure reporting reflects shared audience and identity goals without duplication of scope.
