Own recurring and ad hoc reporting and analysis for front-end revenue cycle programs, including pre-registration, pre-authorization, and insurance verification. Gather and validate data across systems, build SQL analyses and Power BI dashboards, automate reporting workflows, and communicate contractual KPI results and insights to leaders and clients.
R1 is the leading provider of technology-driven solutions that transform the patient experience and financial performance of hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. We are the one company that combines the deep expertise of a global workforce of revenue cycle professionals with the industry’s most advanced technology platform, encompassing sophisticated analytics, AI, intelligent automation, and workflow orchestration.
As a Senior Analytics Analyst, you will own the reporting and analysis behind R1's front-end revenue cycle - pre-registration, pre-authorization, and insurance verification. This is one of the harder analytics problems in the business: the data doesn't sit in one database, so you'll pull it together from systems, engineers, and the people who run the programs themselves. The numbers you produce go to health system stakeholders and clients as contractual KPIs, which means accuracy here has direct financial consequences. You'll join a team of three analysts, taking over a well-established and genuinely complex book of work.
