What the day will look like

 

Treasury systems ownership and support

  • Act as the primary contact for day‑to‑day issues for Treasury and Banking applications for North America and support other team members with global issues.
  • Maintain system configurations, reference data, user profiles, roles, and permissions in accordance with internal controls and segregation‑of‑duties requirements.
  • Coordinate and perform system testing (unit, regression, and user acceptance testing) for upgrades, patches, new modules, and configuration changes.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, training materials and job aids for Treasury and Finance users.

Process and control enhancement

  • Partner with Treasury operations, cash management, debt, investments and risk teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system and process solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes (e.g., bank statement processing, cash positioning, payments, intercompany settlements, forecasting) and improve data quality and control.
  • Support the design and execution of key controls around treasury system access, payments, interfaces, and reconciliations; assist with internal and external audit requests related to treasury systems.

Kyriba / banking connectivity and integrations

  • Support implementation and maintenance of bank connectivity (SWIFT, host‑to‑host, APIs) within Kyriba and related tools.
  • Monitor and help resolve issues with payment files, bank statements, and other interfaces between Kyriba, banks, ERP systems, and downstream applications.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors on integration design, testing, incident resolution, and enhancement work.

Reporting, analytics and data management

  • Build and maintain standard reports and dashboards in Kyriba and related tools to support cash visibility, liquidity management, and operational performance.
  • Assist in the production and enhancement of recurring Treasury reporting (e.g., daily cash positions, liquidity and investment reports, bank fee and account analytics).
  • Ensure data integrity across systems; identify and remediate data quality issues in master data (banks, accounts, entities, counterparties, instruments, etc.).

Projects and transformation

  • Support on Treasury and Finance transformation initiatives (e.g., new country roll‑outs, bank rationalization, payment factory implementations, netting solutions, system migrations).
  • Contribute to business case development and benefits tracking for treasury systems initiatives.
  • Stay current on Kyriba and market best practices and bring ideas forward to enhance Aon’s Treasury technology and processes

Skills and experience that will lead to success

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of experience in a corporate Treasury function and/or in systems/business analysis supporting finance/treasury processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one Treasury Management System (TMS); familiarity with payment formats (SWIFT MT / ISO 20022), bank connectivity and standard treasury processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with demonstrated ability to understand end‑to‑end processes and their technology enablers.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls, risk and compliance considerations in a Treasury environment.
  • Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with data from multiple systems.

Preferred

  • Direct, practical experience configuring or supporting Kyriba (e.g., core cash, payments, bank connectivity, cash forecasting, debt and investments modules).
  • Experience working in a large, global organization with complex banking and entity structures.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and integrations between TMS and ERP.
  • Experience participating in or leading system implementation, upgrade, or process‑reengineering projects.
  • Familiarity with basic scripting, data tools, or BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is a plus.

Pay Transparency Laws

 

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $73,000 - $88,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. 

 

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. 

 

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
