Senior AI-Enabled Product / Project Manager

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

Our client is a physician-owned healthcare group with nine entities, an acquisition most quarters, and a rebrand underway that turns one parent company into eight to ten specialty brands.

Executives built prototypes themselves during an AI programme, and the organization now needs those prototypes turned into shipped software.

The environment includes Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, HubSpot, QuickBooks Online across nine entities, an EMR, and an FP&A platform being implemented.

Role Overview

The Senior AI-Enabled Product / Project Manager will interview the M&A Director about diligence requirements and the Marketing Lead about the rebrand, then document those requirements precisely enough for an Engineer to work from without having to guess.

The role will own the cadence while the organization’s teams own the rules of the business. The Senior AI-Enabled Product / Project Manager will work with the M&A Director and CFO daily, the Marketing Lead weekly on the rebrand, and alongside the Engineer and QA.

Key Responsibilities

M&A Tooling

• Own the backlog across the M&A track, including a diligence data room with notifications, a target-analysis summary tool, and target identification.

• Sequence the M&A backlog so something ships early.

• Work with the M&A Director to document how a deal runs from identifying an owner to a signed file.

• Turn the documented deal process into a specification.

   

Rebrand Program

• Run the rebrand as a programme as one parent company becomes eight to ten specialty brands.

• Define what “a brand is launched” means, including name, logo, colour system, website, signage, collateral, and ad creative.

• Track all eight to ten specialty brands against the defined launch requirements.

• Work with the Marketing Lead to decide which specialty launches first and determine the dependency order.

• Sequence the brand launches rather than launching all of them at once.

   

Brand Asset Engine

• Scope the brand asset engine with Marketing.

• Determine which formats matter and in what volume.

• Determine who approves assets before publication.

   

Acceptance Criteria

• Write acceptance criteria that the Engineer and QA both work from.

• Ensure acceptance criteria are specific enough that “done” is not an opinion.

   

Project Cadence

• Own the sprint, board, tickets, standup, and weekly review.

• Provide executives with updates without requiring them to carry the project overhead.

• Keep the cash-flow and reconciliation work sequenced after the FP&A platform is ready.

   

Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Product or Project Manager shipping internal tools with non-technical stakeholders.

• Business operations background is preferred over deep domain specialization.

• M&A experience on the business-operations side, including diligence, data rooms, deal pipelines, or post-merger integration, is a plus.

• Experience running a rebrand, multi-brand launch, or campaign system as a programme on the operational side is a plus.

• Creative or marketing operations experience managing asset production at volume with a review-and-approve step is a plus.

• Healthcare operations experience involving revenue cycle, practice management, or multi-site clinical operations is a plus.

• Multi-entity finance experience involving month-end close, intercompany reconciliation, or consolidation is a plus.

• A business-analysis background or consulting experience where interviewing operators was part of the work is a plus.

• Experience working with an outsourced IT provider is a plus.

   

Skills

• Ability to read a data model and schema and identify when two systems use the same word differently.

• SQL skills sufficient to answer questions independently or read a query and challenge the number it returns.

• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and authentication sufficient to assess the scope of technical work.

• Ability to write acceptance criteria that an Engineer can build from and QA can test against without a translation layer.

• Ability to manage a backlog using Jira, Linear, or Azure DevOps, including boards, sprints, tickets, and releases.

• Ability to build working prototypes using AI tooling.

• Practical prompt engineering skills.

• Understanding of evaluation sufficient to assess whether an AI-enabled system remains accurate over time.

• Ability to read process maps and document flows, including where records are created, who interacts with them, and what happens when multiple people interact with them simultaneously.

• Ability to interview an executive and identify the actual sequence of steps behind a process.

• Ability to communicate when something is out of scope and explain what it would displace.

• Ability to write clearly using short sentences and no jargon.

• Ability to run a standup without unnecessary ceremony.

• Power Platform experience is a plus.

• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.

• Basic scripting is a plus.

   

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days:

• Own and sequence the M&A backlog covering the diligence data room with notifications, target-analysis summary tool, and target identification.

• Document how a deal runs from identifying an owner to a signed file and turn it into a specification.

• Run the rebrand programme across eight to ten specialty brands.

• Define what “a brand is launched” means and track all eight to ten brands against those requirements.

• Sequence the brand launches with the Marketing Lead.

• Scope the brand asset engine with Marketing, including formats, volume, and approval before publication.

• Write acceptance criteria that the Engineer and QA can work from.

• Own the sprint, board, tickets, standup, and weekly review.

• Keep cash-flow and reconciliation work sequenced after the FP&A platform is ready.

   

Opportunity

The Senior AI-Enabled Product / Project Manager will report to the Head of IT and work with the M&A Director and CFO daily, the Marketing Lead weekly on the rebrand, and the Engineer and QA. The first 90 days will focus on M&A tooling first, with marketing and the rebrand alongside it.
