A Day in the Life

The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business is focused on advancing the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias through innovative mapping, ablation, and electrophysiology (EP) technologies.

The Senior AFFERA™ Therapy Account Consultant provides advanced clinical and technical support for electrophysiology procedures utilizing the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System and related Cardiac Ablation Solutions technologies. This role partners with physicians and electrophysiology laboratory staff to optimize procedural workflows, facilitate technology adoption, support system installations, and deliver education that enhances customer experience and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Provide clinical and technical support during electrophysiology procedures involving the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System and associated equipment (Generators, SW functionalities, pump and accessories) and among them PulseSelect system and disposables and Cryo system and disposables.

• Deliver product education, in-service training, and procedural guidance to physicians, electrophysiology laboratory staff, and other healthcare stakeholders.

• Support the implementation, installation, and adoption of AFFERA™ technology in collaboration with technical and commercial partners.

• Develop and promote advanced clinical workflows that optimize procedural efficiency and customer outcomes.

• Troubleshoot clinical and technical issues in partnership with Field Service Engineers and cross-functional teams.

• Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio, product instructions for use, clinical evidence, and new product developments.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers while providing feedback on product utilization, customer needs, and market insights.

• Document customer interactions and activities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and participate in territory planning, business reviews, and professional education events.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a scientific discipline and 3+ years of clinical electrophysiology (EP) experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of independently supporting electrophysiology mapping procedures.

• Experience providing clinical support and training within electrophysiology laboratory environments.

• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital vendor credentialing requirements and work within electrophysiology laboratory settings.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification or equivalent credential.

• Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.

• Experience supporting mapping and ablation technologies in a customer-facing clinical environment.

• Fluency in English; additional European languages are beneficial.

• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and standard business software applications.
