Senior Accountant

Indeed is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. If you have excellent technical skills and high attention to detail this may be the role for you!The senior accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Who you are

• Responsible for month-end financial reporting and accounting tasks, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Responsible for benefits accounting including: health insurance, fringe and contracted labor accounting
• Suggest, craft and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency
• Prepare and review reconciliations and reports
• Prepare variance analyses for internal and external partners
• Other duties as assigned

Who we are

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or a PhD without experience
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills with excellent influencing and persuasive talents 
• Adept at multitasking, with great attention to detail and time-management skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Self-directed with a positive "can-do" attitude
• Prior work experience in a multinational, multi-currency company

Tier 3 - India 1,386,000 - 2,080,000 INR per year
