The Opportunity

As organizations modernize their SAP landscapes, getting master data right is foundational to successful transformation. You’ll sit at the intersection of business strategy and SAP technology – helping clients establish governance, elevate data quality, and execute data migration and MDG programs that support scalable operations and long-term value. This includes designing and applying comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets, performing maturity assessment, and advising on tools and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.

 

As a Senior Technology Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will interact with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that newly implemented technology solutions meet their needs. Your collaboration with technical teams will be essential in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions.

 

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will spend your time engaging with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will face challenges that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, providing you with opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. This position may require regular travel to meet with clients, allowing you to build relationships and understand their needs better. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with business stakeholders to evaluate business models and processes.
  • Analyzing newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.

  • Proficiency in technology business requirements definition and analysis.
  • Experience in system configuration design and technology cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and communicate with impact.
  • Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.    
  • Demonstrated hands-on with SAP data and governance tools including Data Services, Information Steward, MDG, and Datasphere, along with integration approaches such as CPI, SLT, and APIs.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and security standards are embedded in deliverables.
  • Travel as required by client engagements.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in a relevant field.
  • Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years of relevant professional experience working with one or more SAP modules with full-cycle implementations inside your core module.
  • Experience with SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, SAP MDG, SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, and/or Migration Cockpit.
  • Experience in data modeling, data migration, data quality management, and/or proficiency with ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and integration methods (CPI, SLT, APIs).
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, master data management concepts, and/or reconciliation/validation processes.
  • Understanding of industry data compliance and/or security standards.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience with data governance and/or data integration solutions (e.g., SAP MDG or comparable frameworks).
  • Exposure to SAP Datasphere and/or SAP Data Intelligence.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities across client and internal stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and build client trust.

  • The salary range for this job is:
    • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $122,900 to $204,900
    • Bay Area California offices – $128,100 to $213,400
    • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $102,500 to $187,900
  • Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
