Salesforce Agentforce Developer — Job Description(Experience: 5-7yrs)
Contract -Remote

A Salesforce Agentforce Developer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing AI‑powered solutions in Salesforce using Agentforce, Co‑Pilot, and related technologies, while ensuring scalability, quality, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Agentforce Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy Agentforce agents in Salesforce for customer‑facing and internal service scenarios. Create agent instructions, topics, and actions using Agentforce Studio and prompt‑engineering best practices.
  

• Integration with Data Cloud: Connect Agentforce with Salesforce Data Cloud to enable context‑aware AI responses using unified customer and case data .
  

• Apex & Flow Development: Build Apex classes, triggers, and Flows to support agent actions, data cloud events, and system‑to‑system integration 
  

• Prompt Engineering: Develop and optimize Einstein Prompt Builder templates for use cases like case summarization, recommended actions, anomaly detection, and knowledge retrieval.
  

• AI Model Integration: Integrate Einstein AI models, approved third‑party LLMs via Model Builder, and RAG frameworks; evaluate and tune AI responses for accuracy and compliance.
  

• Collaboration: Work with cross‑functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions .
  

• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Resolve Salesforce and Agentforce technical issues, monitor AI performance, and recommend improvements.
  

• Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation, adhere to Salesforce coding standards, and ensure scalability.
  

• Mentorship: Train and mentor junior developers on Salesforce and Agentforce best practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in Salesforce development ; 5+ years Salesforce + 2+ years AI/Data Cloud for advanced roles.
  

• Technical Skills:
  

  • Salesforce APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), declarative tools (Flows, Forms, Workflows)
    

  • Agentforce Studio, Prompt Builder, Model Builder
    

  • Data Cloud configuration (streams, DMOs, identity resolution)
    

  • API integrations and third‑party service connections 
    

• Certifications: Active Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) or higher; Service Cloud certification preferred.
  

• Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving, communication, collaboration, and Agile methodology experience 
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Salesforce certifications (Service Cloud, Data Cloud) 
  

• Experience integrating AI models and generative AI into Salesforce 
  

• Proven track record in delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions under tight deadlines
