About Moyer Move Management
Moyer Move Management is a family-owned business that’s three generations strong, serving the Greater Washington, DC – Baltimore Metro area. We’re a growing company with deep Maryland roots and a small-business feel — not a corporation. We help older adults and families navigate major life transitions — downsizing, relocating, and moving into senior living communities — with the kind of care and attention you’d expect from someone moving their own family. White-glove service isn’t an upgrade for us; it’s our standard. When our clients are in the middle of one of life’s biggest changes, our promise is simple: our family has your family covered. The people who join our team share that same commitment to doing right by every client we serve. Our team is dispersed but deeply connected — a caring, compassionate group of remote and hybrid professionals who show up for each other and for every client, no matter where they're working from. If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.
Job description:
Be the glue that holds sales, operations, and the client experience together.
If you're an energetic, organized professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats and loves keeping things running behind the scenes, this role may be a fit for you! We're looking for a Sales Support Manager who can handle a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks, work independently, and bring a genuine customer-service mindset to every interaction. This job is part office manager, part client liaison, and part operations connector.
You'll coordinate the administrative workflow, communication, and processes connecting Moyer Move Management, our affiliate Moyer & Sons, our clients, partner communities, and outside vendors — managing each client job from estimate through move day and account settlement, including keeping records current in Smart Moving. You'll also be a first point of contact by phone for prospective clients, existing clients, and partners, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a fully remote role, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional optional in-person team gatherings.
What you'll actually be doing:
• Manage back-office workflow for client jobs from estimate through move day and account settlement, documenting progress in Smart
Moving
• Coordinate move-day logistics — permits, reservations, and other details — alongside the operations team
• Manage internal communications and coordinate with team members to execute client jobs
• Collaborate with third-party partners to meet partnership expectations and maintain positive relationships
• Manage schedules, calendars, and appointments for assigned Sales and Account Managers
• Field incoming calls and voicemails — general inquiries, leads, and existing clients — and ensure timely, well-documented follow-up on
customer questions and concerns
• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and community partners, and help keep back-office procedures up to date
You may enjoy this role if you:
• Like wearing multiple hats across sales support, office admin, and client care in the same day
• Take satisfaction in being the dependable, organized hub that keeps everyone else's work running smoothly
• Enjoy talking with clients and vendors, bringing a genuine customer-service mindset to every call
• Work well independently and enjoy a fully remote role
This role may not be for you if:
• You prefer a narrow, single-focus role rather than juggling admin, sales support, and client service
• You need a lot of structure or close supervision to stay on track
• You're not comfortable fielding calls and working independently in a remote environment
What it takes to succeed:
Customer service & admin experience: Proven experience in sales office management, administrative support, or an assistant role, ideally in moving or move management.
Organization & time management: Strong planning skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; comfortable as a first point of contact for clients, vendors, and partners.
Tech-savvy: Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning systems like Smart Moving.
Judgment & problem-solving: Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
Apply If:
You love being the dependable, organized presence that keeps sales, operations, and the client experience connected, and you take pride in handling the details so nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a remote position.
