Manage and grow the sales pipeline in emerging US regions by qualifying inbound leads and closing opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including universities, producers, and industry associations.
Monil's US effort is concentrated in a handful of focus states in the Midwest, where we have people on the ground and a farmer success team close to our customers. Becoming known and trusted in a new region takes time, and we are deliberately building that slowly.
But interest is not waiting for us. Inquiries are coming in from producers all over US, from operations we have never visited in regions where we have no local presence at all. Today nobody owns that pipeline. We are hiring someone who will.
You will help Monil grow across the US as part of a close-knit sales team. Much of your work will be responding to producers who contact us, understanding their operations, and focusing our time on the opportunities where Monil can make the greatest difference. You will also expand our national network through selected universities, partners and events worth engaging with.
This is a remote role with day-to-day support from the rest of the US team. Together, you will learn which customers and regions show the most promise and decide where Monil should focus next. If you enjoy helping build a national sales effort while working closely with a team, we would like to hear from you.
If that sounds like the kind of problem you want to own, we would like to hear from you.
Own growth targets in US states outside our focus regions, managing inbound interest from qualification through to closing the right opportunities.
Qualify carefully. Producers in these regions will not have a local Monil team nearby, so the fit has to be right and expectations have to be clear before they buy. Walking away from a poor fit is part of doing this job well.
Work closely with Farmer Success so remote customers get onboarded properly and stay successful.
Build early relationships in regions where we have no presence yet; Universities, producers, associations, and anyone else who shapes how technology gets adopted locally.
Share what you learn with the commercial team. Some travel is expected.
Help decide where we expand next, together with Sales Ops and the Head of Sales US.
Improve how we work for selling into new regions.
You have a proven sales track record and are comfortable owning your own pipeline and targets.
You have livestock background either through your own operation, growing up or previous work experience. You know how producers think.
You can build trust over the phone and on video.
You can explain a technical product in practical terms, and you are honest about what it does and does not do.
You are organized.
You work well with freedom and responsibility. The targets are set; how you reach them is largely up to you.
You are collaborative, and you share what you learn rather than keeping it in your own head.
You are excited about joining early and helping build something new.
Monil already has experience and working methods from Europe and the US. The US team uses what works, while adapting or rebuilding the parts that do not translate to the American market.
We move quickly and learn as we go. We do not overbuild processes early. We focus on doing the work, learning from it, and building structure as patterns emerge.
Most of this role is done remotely, by phone and video. That is how we sell, and it works, but it means the relationship has to be built through the conversation itself rather than a handshake while visiting a farm. There will be travel for larger opportunities, industry events, and regions we are seriously considering, but this is not a role that lives in a truck.
Because Monil is still early in the US, everyone contributes where needed. You will have a clear focus on sales, but the people joining now are expected to step in, solve problems, and move the business forward wherever they can.
Ownership of an entire pipeline from day one, with real influence over where Monil goes next in the US.
A product already making a difference for livestock producers in Europe and the Midwest.
Significant autonomy, and a small team that will not slow you down.
Competitive base salary with performance-based compensation.
The opportunity to grow with the company as the US business develops.
A straightforward, practical company culture focused on solving real problems for producers.
This is a fully remote role reporting to Head of Sales US. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final application deadline of October 18.
To apply, please submit your CV and a short application describing your experience owning a sales pipeline and building customer relationships remotely. We’d also like to hear about any experience you have working with cattle producers or introducing a product into a new territory.
