Position Summary
The Sales Operations Analyst supports the sales team by completing assigned analytical and operational tasks that advance presale work accurately, consistently, and on time. This role provides essential support for data preparation, reporting, workflow tracking, and structured case assignments while building deeper knowledge of the department’s business model, customers, and presale deliverables. The analyst works closely with sales executives, sales support and operations, and other internal and external support teams. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support assigned presale analytics and operational workflow activities under established department processes.
  • Complete core analytics outputs for assigned cases, including GEO Access Reports, Discount Analysis, Disruption Reports, and Claims Repricing Analysis.
  • Prepare, clean, organize, and validate data for assigned reports, tracking files, and workflow deliverables.
  • Maintain assigned case files, trackers, logs, and documentation with accuracy and consistency.
  • Use Excel, Word, Outlook, and related tools to support day-to-day workflow execution.
  • Communicate status updates, questions, and follow-up needs clearly and professionally.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or workflow issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Complete provider nomination submissions.
  • Follow standardized procedures, templates, and quality expectations to ensure consistent work output.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in analytics or reporting

  • Microsoft tool proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Copilot; Excel proficiency includes pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters, and conditional formatting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using business technology platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Prior experience in medical or dental claims processing, billing, sales, sales support, or sales enablement.


Education

  • Bachelors degree preferably in Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Analytics, Finance, Marketing, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $102,081.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
