Sierra Select is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our sales team by identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective customers and dealer partners, and generating qualified leads.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships, conducting outreach, and creating new sales opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Identify and research prospective customers, dealers, and business opportunities.
* Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and other professional communication channels.
* Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify prospective customers based on business needs.
* Introduce Sierra Select’s products and services to prospective accounts.
* Schedule qualified meetings and product discussions for the sales team.
* Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in the CRM.
* Follow up consistently with prospects and nurture developing relationships.
* Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams.
* Research market trends, competitors, and potential new accounts.
* Track outreach activity, lead-generation results, meetings, and conversion metrics.
* Develop and maintain an organized pipeline of qualified prospects.
* Communicate customer feedback and market insights to the sales and marketing teams.
* Meet established activity and lead-generation goals.
* Perform other sales and business-development duties as assigned.
Requirements
* 1–3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, business development, customer service, or a related field preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Confident and professional telephone and email communication.
* Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
* Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail.
* Experience in consumer electronics, technology, wholesale, distribution, or dealer sales is a plus.
