About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our global commercial organization and support our sales growth across Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is at the beginning of their sales career and wants to grow within the world of B2B SaaS, fintech, and digital trade finance. The role is highly hands-on and requires strong sales orientation, persistence, sharp communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups at the same time.

As an SDR, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, qualifying, and nurturing leads across different market segments. You will work with both inbound leads who have already shown interest in Surecomp, as well as outbound leads from our existing databases, event attendee lists, and targeted prospecting activities.

The role will support Surecomp’s solutions across both financial institutions and corporates. This means engaging with banking professionals, corporate treasury teams, and other relevant stakeholders, understanding their initial interest or pain points, creating curiosity around Surecomp’s value proposition, and helping move qualified leads toward the sales team.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, commercially minded, comfortable communicating by phone and email, and able to handle objections in a professional and confident way. This is a role for someone who understands that successful sales development requires consistency, follow-up, curiosity, and strong attention to detail.

Location

Remote, Europe.

Preference will be given to candidates based in Germany, Netherlands or England.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engage with inbound leads who have contacted Surecomp or shown interest in our solutions, qualify their potential, and ensure timely and professional follow-up.
  • Conduct proactive outbound outreach to potential leads across Europe through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Support pre-event sales activities by working with attendee lists, identifying relevant prospects, reaching out before events, and scheduling meetings between prospects and Surecomp’s sales representatives.
  • Manage post-event follow-ups with prospects, ensure all interactions are properly tracked, and help move relevant leads forward in the sales process.
  • Maintain strong ownership of lead management, making sure each lead is tracked, updated, followed up on, and clearly documented at every stage.
  • Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads and transfer them once they become relevant opportunities.
  • Learn and communicate Surecomp’s value proposition clearly, including our solutions for banks and corporates, and tailor the initial pitch based on the type of prospect.
  • Engage with different types of stakeholders, including banking professionals and corporate representatives.
  • Handle initial questions and objections from prospects in a confident and professional way, while knowing when to involve the relevant sales team members.
  • Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools to manage outreach activity, track leads, and support pipeline creation.
  • Work with large databases of potential prospects and continuously support the creation of new meetings and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and other commercial functions to support lead generation efforts.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a sales-related, customer-facing, call center, customer retention, business development, or sales development role.
  • Strong interest in building a career in sales, with clear commercial orientation and the ability to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Experience communicating with customers or prospects by phone and email, with the ability to build interest, ask relevant questions, and manage objections.
  • Ability to work in a structured and organized way, manage multiple leads in parallel, and maintain strong follow-up discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High level of energy, persistence, curiosity, and motivation to succeed in a target-driven commercial environment.
  • Ability to learn a complex B2B SaaS and fintech offering and translate it into clear, simple, and engaging messaging for prospects.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role that includes repetitive outreach, lead tracking, phone calls, emails, follow-ups, and detailed CRM updates.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying closely aligned with global sales and commercial teams.
