We are seeking an accomplished and goal-driven Area Sales Manager, with deep expertise in renewables, particularly within solar, wind, energy storage, and the TIC industry. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a strategic sales leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, market development, and customer engagement across the United KingdomYou will join STS, a key player in the global renewable energy sector with operations spanning the Globe. Position Overview 

Ensure the development and realization of sales targets by implementing effective strategies and plans tailored for the United Kingdom market, aiming at maximizing sales and sustained profitability. Undertake business development and sales activities that enable company clients to select the most relevant technical solutions, delivering high market presence and sustained profitability. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop a business development strategic plan in the United Kingdom, obtain approval and execute it. 
  • Execute the company's objectives and sales targets maximizing sales revenues. 
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and sales channels to focus efforts and resources effectively. 
  • Manage the sales pipelines within the CRM system, tracking leads, sales opportunities, and deals through each stage of the sales process. 
  • Maintain accurate and current CRM data, with a particular emphasis on order closing and job start dates, enabling coordination and operational resource planning, to ensure high utilization rates. 
  • Manage relationships with existing customers to build loyalty, create opportunities for repeat business, as well as upsell and cross-sell opportunities. 
  • Present STS services to clients and provide expert advice on selecting relevant services. 
  • Forecast future sales revenues and trends based on historical data, market analysis, sales pipeline projections, and potential growth opportunities. 
  • Travel will be required for within the United Kingdom (manager to confirm frequency). 

 

 

 Qualifications and Experience  

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of successful experience, preferably in technical or industrial services within the United Kingdom. 
  • Proven track record of developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets across multiple countries. 
  •  Experience working with CRM tools and managing full sales pipelines. 
  •  Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with operational teams and deliver integrated solutions to clients. 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of other languages such as Spanish is an advantage. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  •  Excellent organizational and project management abilities. 
  •  Deep understanding of sales analytics, forecasting, and reporting. 
  •  Cultural awareness and sensitivity when working across diverse regions.
