Safety Officer / Helicopter Engineer - ACH135 | Yacht-Based | Med & Caribbean

A private Family Office is seeking a licensed Helicopter Engineer to join a yacht-based VIP helicopter operation (Airbus ACH135), combining maintenance responsibility with an onboard safety-crew role.

The Role

• Full line and base maintenance responsibility for the aircraft, onboard the yacht's support vessel
• Onboard safety-crew member, supporting the pilot during flight operations and in emergency scenarios
• Coordination with the aircraft's CAMO/continuing-airworthiness provider and the yacht's technical team

Roster
3 weeks on / 3 weeks off, though in practice flexible around operational need — off time coordinated directly with the operating captain team rather than a rigid fixed pattern.

Requirements

• EASA Part 66 (or UK CAA/GCAA equivalent) B1/B2 licence, valid type rating or ability to obtain one
• Significant helicopter maintenance experience; VIP, yacht-based or offshore operational background strongly preferred
• Additional safety-crew, hoist or rescue qualification an advantage
• Fluent English
• Based in Europe; flexible to reposition between the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons
