The Role
The RFP Manager, Growth serves as the operational backbone of the Wpromote x Giant Spoon (WPxGS) Growth team, owning the agency's proposal development process from early stage RFI through final submission. Reporting into the SVP, Enterprise Growth, this role ensures every proposal reflects the highest standards of quality, consistency, and strategic storytelling while enabling Growth Leaders to focus on client strategy and relationship development.
Beyond managing active pursuits, this individual contributor is responsible for maintaining the agency's institutional knowledge—including proposal content, credentials, case studies, staffing information, AI knowledge repositories, and reusable assets—to ensure every pursuit starts from the strongest possible foundation.
This role combines project management, editorial excellence, content operations, and cross-functional leadership to improve both proposal quality and team efficiency.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $90,000 - $110,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above.

\nOwning the end-to-end development and execution of RFIs, RFPs, security questionnaires, procurement requests, and proposal submissions.
Building and managing proposal workplans, timelines, milestones, and review schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
Coordinating cross-functional contributors across Strategy, Media, Creative, Analytics, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
Partnering with Growth and Pitch Leadership to translate pursuit strategy into compelling, tailored proposal narratives.
Ensuring submissions are tailored to each client's business, evaluation criteria, and procurement requirements.
Managing third-party consultant and procurement communications throughout the proposal process.
Developing, editing, customizing and assembling agency credentials, proposals, executive summaries, capability presentations, and supporting materials.
Maintaining exceptional editorial and quality standards while ensuring a consistent, premium WPxGS brand experience.
Partnering with subject matter experts to develop new proposal content, differentiators, and reusable messaging.
Owning and continuously improving the agency's proposal content library, including credentials, case studies, staff and leadership profiles, service and capability information, certifications, awards, and partner information.
Serving as the primary steward of proposal knowledge within internal AI systems and content repositories.
Improving proposal efficiency through stronger organization, templates, and knowledge management.
Supporting Growth Leadership through all phases of the pitch lifecycle, from qualification through final presentation.
Coordinating production of presentation materials, printed assets, leave-behinds, and meeting logistics as needed.
Tracking proposal progress and communicating daily status updates, risks, dependencies, and upcoming milestones.
Driving accountability across contributors while ensuring senior leadership reviews occur at appropriate milestones.
Continuously improving proposal processes, templates, workflows, and governance to increase speed, quality, and consistency.
Establishing proposal management best practices across the Growth organization.
Helping onboard and train team members on proposal tools, processes, and standards.
4-5+ years of experience in proposal management, new business, agency growth, marketing operations or related functions within advertising, media, marketing, or consulting.
Experience leading complex RFP/RFI responses within advertising, media, marketing, consulting, or technology organizations.
Demonstrated success supporting competitive proposal processes and cross-functional pursuit teams.
Outstanding written, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines simultaneously.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience building and maintaining knowledge management systems or content libraries.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Salesforce, project management platforms, and collaborative work tools.
Thrive working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Editorial or technical writing background.
Experience supporting consultant-led procurement processes.
Experience with proposal automation or knowledge management platforms.
Familiarity with AI-powered content management and prompt libraries.
Experience within integrated media, creative, or digital marketing agencies.
